About Shadowmate

Since most of the people that are not used to buttonmashing games fight their Interface rather than their enemy i coded a tool that supports fighting and some other features to ease keyloads while fighting.

The tool does NOT sniff in the packets or violate the EULA as it stands now.

Also it will not give you superhuman abilitys but reliefs you with watching the combat buttons and pressing them as they light up i.e. advancing combos or mashing random attacks.

Basicly it work like this:

The tool "watches" the screen by evaluating Colors at given Positions and reacting with sending keystrokes.

If a combo is startet the next button in the chain lights up in a different color, that is what the tool recognizes. If you press a single button it will press the according button in the UI.

Basicly you start it prior to AoC and it will run a systemtray icon.

-Prerequisits-

Start AoC in WINDOWED MODE, Shadowmate will only work in windowed mode.

  • A prerequisite is that you turn Hover Infos OFF !!*

All of those would screw up the color recognition.

The Attack buttons need to be bound to 1-5 on the Keypad as follows

Keypad1 (upper left) - Keypad2 (up) - Keypad3 (upper right) - Keypad4 (lower left) - Keypad5 (lower right)

Start game then hit Ctrl+Alt+Numpad9 for starting individual setup of your keys.

Tooltips will then tell you what to do and in which order.

This part is VITAL for any function because its the moment where the tool safes its "awareness" to a config file. So if you do not do it properly it will not work.

After setup is done your basic controls are W,A,S,D and the buttons 2 and 3.

These buttons cannot be used in key bindings in AoC anymore.

2 will spam random strikes (white hits) while you keep it pressed and 3 will randomly pick one of the combos in the places 5-0 on your combo bar.

If a combo starts, 2 or 3 will advance it step by step as you press it or just execute it if you hold 2 or 3 down.

The tool does not interfere with the Client or modifies anything in the stream. Also it does not change memory places but sends keystrokes via Keyboard buffer.

No install, just put it somewhere and run. While Conan is up it works, if not it rests.

Alot of the features have been revised and reworked for effeciency.

This version will work with Antialiasing in windowed mode.

Reworked the way Comboselection is made. Less jumpy now and picks Combos from first to last if they are Multipstep.

1 will now NOT advance running Combos. It will just fire the Buffline (by popular demand)

Remeber that NUMLOCK has to be turned ON for proper working.

    1.14 supports :

    x86, x64 , antialiasing (in windowed mode), DX 10

    VISTA Users: TURN OFF TRANSPARENCY on Desktop-Properties.

    Start AoC in windowed mode and SM will turn into Fullscreen-windowed mode (Borderless Window). Results in alot quicker SM AND only way to support FSAA in high resolutions. Sadly only way to get Colorreading quick enough from the API, or i will have to scratch that in the future and get it directly from videomem.

    Cannot install, getting the following error message:
    Shadowmate cannot be installed on systems earlier than windows server 2008 x64.

    im running windows vista home premium 2007 x64. this is obviously the problem, any fixes?

    Stupidly the Install wrapper i used had a bug with some settings, which all together produce this. Fixed. :)

    what I am not getting is on one hand you say buttons 1-5 need to be set up in this way. Then you say 1 and 2 can not be used as key bindings in AoC anymore well which is it?

    Well the 'buttons' 1-5 are located on the KEYPAD. Its the keypads 1-5 that SM uses for triggering your 5 directional attacks.

    This is why you need those to be setup on your UI with the Directional attacks (Yellow-red Arrow icons).

    the Keys 1 and 2 ARE bound (hardcoded) to the internal functions of the SM and will trigger the logic. So you basicly CAN set other actions ontop of 1 and 2 but be aware that those two will ALWAYS trigger the SM to do stuff...

    In fact i use this to pull off instant buffs, before the comboselector or the buffline triggers by SM.

    MAN!! just DONT fiddle around with you OS just to install this. You should be able to use in any way so if thers something odd with it , i have to check it out anyway.

    Installier nix neues, das muss ich reparieren.

    Thank you for this nice piece of software. For me it works perfectly except in fullscreen mode where it seems only to random mash buttons.

    Bug was reported and is fixed in 1.1.0, it was hard for me to track since my system did not provide a clue on where to start so i had to move to a friend and debug it at his place. :)

    Having trouble with voice setup I press Ctrl+Alt+Numpad9 but I dont hear any voice. Only time I can hear voice if I press numberpad + which it says "on"

    Sounds like you did not bind the keypad1-5 to your attack buttons.

    Im missing something. I go through the setup just fine but then it does nothing in the game. Anyone have an idea? I have my gamma set to 1 and no antialias but im not getting anything with i press 2 or 4
