About Archimedes

Arc-shaped indicator bars.

Updated and working!

Soon to be highly customisable arcs, some of the planned types of arcs are:

Castbars, Buff/Debuff, HoT/DoT, Proc

/arch (To open the settings window)

Some settings may not be set in effect directly (such as target settings), to make sure that a changed setting is loaded into your arcs, you can do a /reloadui which will save and reload all settings.

Look at the folder ArchimedesDefaultSkin to see how you can create your own skin!

The Archimedes goal:

Combat efficiency

Visual excellence

High customisability

  • Fixing the breaking bugs.
  • I really don't remember how this all works, I'm gonna go through the code base and see what I can do more, I might not have the time to understand it all in order to make some actual changes

    1. I'll add it in the next version

    2. It is done in the working version, it will be available in the next release

    3. I'm intending to add buff and debuff bars, I haven't really decided on the form yet. I think it might be a bit too annoying if you have to add a new arc for each buff you want to watch (although it may work if you only want a few specific, such as HoT/DoT)

    4. It's also done, coming in the next release

    5. I will do this one for the next version

    1. It's on the way!

    2. I have been unable to recreate this using my working version so either I fixed without noticing or it is a local problem.

Still getting it, i'll keep my ticket on curse forge with additional info, and steps i've tried and if i can fix it.

    Great Job So Far!

This addon is wonderful. Thanks for the slimline memory usage too.

Would it use up too much memory to ask for two things:

    1. User customization of the target (right) and user (left) bars? Specifically for placement. I personally find the distance of these bars to be a touch too far apart, using 1680x945 (native) resolution on my 18 inch laptop, and it's just a bit inside my normal blind-spot when i'm looking at one or the other.

    2. User customization of the health/power/mana/etc bar colors, _IF_ thats even possible. Since they are currently using the same colors as the default, I'm not even sure if it can be made any other colors. Example: I want my health bar to Pop, i'd set it to a Red shade, if possible.

Otherwise, i've noticed ZERO memory leaks, graphical anomolies. Not even that odd health meter thing you see with the default GUI. - Great job Sunspots!

Thanks a lot for the praise! I need to create a new texture for each colour but they are changeable from the settings. A red texture is coming in the next version, along with some other textures and features.
