That's not the expected behavior of autoposting.

Maybe some saved variables from older versions are messing it, could you try cleaning them? To do that, go to the \Interface\Saved\YOUR_ACCOUNT\YOUR_SHARD\YOUR_CHARACTER\SavedVariables folder and rename or delete the BananAH.lua file.

Please report back if it fixed your issues.

Each price model has two steps when calculating prices:

    1. The first one (price calculation) calculates a reference price, based on the parameters you've set (for example, it could take the average of the prices you've seen in the last week).

    2. The second one (price matching) adjust that price based on the active auctions (for example, it could undercut prices which are slightly lower than the reference one).

When the "Apply matching rules" toggle is on, the two steps are executed. When it's off, the second step is skipped.

Quote from Baanano » To autopost all items you've configured for autoposting, click on the lightning icon on the bottom right corner of the window.

The only thing that happens when I press that icon is a number appears in the little box and items I haven't configered for sale show in the list box. If I click the icon again, the whole list goes blank but nothing else happens. I still have to post every auction individually.

so me changing it to 100 will always go lower then the competition, also my next question is this; what is apply matching rules

  • #107

    To change the undercut range:

    1. Go to Config > Prices

    2. Select the appropiate item category (probably "All")

    3. Select the Reference price whose matching rules you want to modify (probably "Market price") and click on Edit

    4. Unfold Competition matcher by clicking on the purple arrow next to it

    5. Change the Undercut auctions within range slider to the value you want to use

    6. Click on Save in the dialog window: You'll be back in the Config > Prices screen and the dot left of the Reference price you've changed will be red to show it has been changed but not saved yet.

    7. Repeat from step 3 if there are more Reference prices you want to change.

    8. Click on Save at the top right corner to save changes to the item category. The dots will turn green once they've been saved.

thank you hun, just one more question, I see that the price matching is gone, how do i set it up to where it undercuts?

  • #102

I have it set to market price and price matching and there is someone selling the item for 8 platinum and someone selling it for 1 99 platinum, and mine is trying to sell it for 5 platinum 9 gold?  Why isnt it going to the lowest price match?

  • #103

Seems it considers the 1.99 price too cheap to match. Try increasing the undercutting range.

Yay the text issue is fixed! I have a new issue now tho.

I set my prices in auto post and save them. Then, I can just hit that to see multiple items and I love it. Today, it isn't working. I set the price, hit save, go back to regular mode and the old price is there.

Also, switching from post to look at the auctions, I got (first time, was ok before):

    Error: performance warning

    Hi Suziekew,

I'm sorry for answering so late, I've been working on BiSCal lately and haven't had enough time to dedicate to BananAH.

That version you're using, even though it seems to be the latest stable one (0.3.1), is pretty old. I haven't worked on it for over half a year, and it was barely working after the watchdog was introduced.

I recommend you to switch to the latest beta (0.4.4 RC5),  which you can find on CurseForge or on the "Other downloads" link above. It's pretty stable and I plan to release it with RIFT 2.2, as long as nothing else breaks in the meantime...

  • #98

The text issue is internal. It was introduced on RIFT 2.1 Hotfix 4 (01/16/2013) and will hopefully be fixed on Hotfix 5, this week or the next one.

  • #99
