    Database deleted ? :(

Hello, first congratulation, the addon is really great Cool

However, it often clears in my own data collected and stored settings, what the use of "average function" unfortunately totally unusable Frown
i hope you can fix this

Thanks, and keep it up! Smile

The new version 0.2.2 has the Auction DB saving in a highly compressed format which reduces the size of the Auction DB up to 85%.  This should solve the problem of the Database becoming too large.

When Rift Patch 1.8 is released BananAH will be updated to use the new data compression API included with the patch to increase the Database compression even futher.

That's actually a known error, I reported it myself on the projects development site.  Baanano originally thought it was doing it because of testing code, but has since discovered that the database is limited to 10MB is size, once that is reached the file truncates and all data is lost.  A fix is being developed now and it has been given highest priority as this is a major problem.

The average pricing method is explained in the documentation, if you have 0.2.1, then look in your <Rift Directory>\interface\addons\BananAH, and you will find BananAH.pdf.  If you have version 0.2.0, then the documentation can be downloaded from the link in the addon description.

Thank you for your bug report and patience.

Just in case you didn't notice the documentation is now available.  It contains a detailed explaination of all features and configuration settings, including descriptions of how the different pricing methods work.

The link is in the add-on description, I hope you find it helpful.

definetly buggy, if i set to auto post at 2 stacks, IT POSTS all of them, little strange to say the least, all in all its good just need to fix some of the bugs with posting

  • #8

Hi, I am the documentation writer for the project.  In response to your comment about auto post not remembering number of stacks to be posted.  I can tell you that this is on Baanano's to-do list for version 0.3, so hopefully this problem will be resolved in the not too distant future.

I would like to thank you for your response and for your patience.

This addon is perfect! Please have a feature that unit buyout = unit bid

    THX! :)

  • #10

This feature is implimented in version 0.2, you can set it individually for auctions you post, or you can have it enabled by default in the config settings screen.

  • #2

how do u get it to load the auction UI?

  • #3

    It's in the project page:

  • #1

is there a way to add in a pricing history for things that have sold? that was my favorite function of the advanced auction house addon in the last game i played

  • #9

Hi, I can tell you that pricing history is one of the planned features to be added.

Version 0.5 is currently planned to incorporate sales and purchases history for pricing models.  Version 0.6 is currently planned to incorporate the History Tab which is currently in the addon but is non-functional, for viewing previous purchases/sales data.

If you are interested in an over-view of future planned features, a brief list can be found here:
