This addon will no longer be maintained or repaired, as the content it was designed for is no longer current/relevant.
This is a simple, configurable Gadget that you can use to show you movement alerts when certain debuffs are applied to your character. It will alert you to move in a given direction, or to do a certain thing, when specific debuffs occur. It currently tracks:
Gorlach (fire mini) - Hot Foot: Default alert says to "MOVE AWAY!"
Conclave - Infernal Feedback : Default alert says "STOP EVERYTHING"
Maklamos HM - Red Crystal: Default alert says "^ MOVE FORWARD ^"
Maklamos HM - Green Crystal: Default alert says "<< MOVE LEFT"
Maklamos HM - Blue Crystal: Default alert says "MOVE RIGHT >>"
Dragon Eggs - Hellfire: Default alert says "MOVE AWAY"
Maelforge - Earthen Fissure: Default alert says "<< MOVE LEFT"
Maelforge - Fiery Fissure: Default alert says "MOVE RIGHT >>"
Maelforge - Hellfire (Green): Default alert says "<< MOVE LEFT"
Maelforge - Hellfire (Yellow): Default alert says "MOVE RIGHT >>"
These alerts are configurable to change which direction they tell you to move. It is assumed that you will change them to fit your raid's composition & strategy.
To use: Add the ID Helper gadget to your screen and position it wherever you would like the alert to display. That's it. The addon tracks for the above debuffs based upon combat status & zone name you're located in, so it won't look for Maelforge's Hellfire when you're in Hammerknell, or any zone other than "Spires of Sacrifice".
This is not meant to replace KBM or other such addons, nor to overstep their functionality. This can be used in place of, or in conjunction with, any other raid addon without conflict.
The following /commands are available but unnecessary:
/idhStart : this starts the addon if it's stopped.
/idhStop : should you choose to stop it for any reason (it loads up already started).
/idhReset : stops then restarts the addon
I have no plans to enhance this addon further at this time. Once in SL I may, or may not, produce similar addons for the expansion's raids should I find them desirable/desired. KBM is an awesome addon but I do not currently use it. I find the alert system presented here to be far more than enough for my needs as a DPS in ID, and simply felt that others could benefit from them as well. And before it is asked, no I do not plan to supply or support a non-Gadgets version of this addon.
Extra thanks to Opalisk of <Aegis> for his contributions & ideas.
