Gadgets_SCT is a configurable scrolling combat text gadget.

Each gadget can be configured to show a subset or all of the events - Damage In/Out, Healing In/Out.

You can select a different font to display the text if you so wish.

Is this still being worked on? I just started using this a little over a week ago and I love it. However, there are some abilities that don't show an icon, most likely due to the lastest edition releases of Rift since this last came out. That would be great! Thanks for the awesome job.

Can you not achieve that by rearranging the order of things ?

If not, can you be a bit more specific about what you would like to be able to do? Always willing to entertain improvements/suggestions!

[Hrm, march 18th last post, not looking good for actively updating addon but here goes]

No, you can not.  Check out MSBT for WoW for a lot of nifty and useful options.  Here is my main request:

Text Direction.  Up/Down.  Currently it's default is down.

As other request goes, text aligned left is default, would be nice to have the option to align right.  Due to the way text lays out if you have a gadget on left its fine, but if  you have it on right text can go off screen.  You want the text, in this case, to expand to the left.  Right aligned, left expand.  There are many reasons for this, it is a quite useful option.

In any case thanks for this addon, I prefer being able to have the text not attached to mobs and characters as the games API has it.

I'm referring to the option to align the text to the left or right.  Currently it is always left-aligned.  I personally  would like the options to right-align it also.  Hope that clarifies things.

I know what you mean, because I use the right side for incoming damage, and the left side for incoming heals.  I place them both in the right positions, but because they are left justified, the one on the right is not in the correct position.

Text starts from the left and displays left, we need an option to allow text to justify and start from the right and display right side.  Then it would align perfectly on the UI when using more than one scrolling combat text in the UI.

It would be awesome if the option existed to set whether the text was left or right justified.  Its difficult to center around a HUD.  Great otherwise, though.
