Description and Features

This Addon includes fully tested support for all Rift instanced raiding content, including full and partial support for: Grim Awakening, Endless Eclipse, Frozen Tempest, Triumph of the Dragon Queen, All base level 50 Raids and Slivers, and Expert and Master Dungeons. Various new and existing features are being included on a regular basis including; Mechanic Timers, Custom Mechanic Monitors (e.g. Rune King Molinar and Kolmasveli), Encounter Timers, Tank Swap monitors, Adjustable boss casting bars, Boss cast bar ability filtering, Enrage Timers and many more.

  • Note: All Encounters have full to partial support for English, German, French and Russian translations unless explicitly stated.

Tank-Swap Monitor (T-SM)

  • Automatically tracks all tanks simultaneously and displays debuff stack and duration information.
  • Full tracking of tank stack and debuff duration by any raid member.
  • Displays each tanks HP bar, updates real-time.
  • Tracks and displays all tanks death states.

Advanced Encounter Tracking

Each supported boss encounter includes the following:

  • Encounter timer display in MM:SS format.
  • Enrage timer display in MM:SS format. (where applicable)
  • Phase tracking display. (where applicable)
  • Objective tracking display. (where applicable)
  • Ready Check support with overview.
  • Rez Master, combat res monitor.
  • Main boss always visible castbar tracking. (skill filters where supported)
  • Selection of optional mechanic or skill timers and screen alerts.
  • Dynamic timers which can change duration during an encounter.
  • Advanced dynamic linked interrupt engine. Links cast interrupts and alert triggers.
  • Customize the size of all Timers, Alerts, Castbars and Phase Tracking.
  • Customize individual colors of Timers, Alerts and Cast filters.
  • English, German, Russian, Korean, Taiwanese, Chinese and French client support.


/kbmoff Turns off the Addon's triggering methods.
/kbmon Turns on the Addon's triggering methods.
/kbmdefault List available keywords to reset specific items to default.
/kbmoptions Toggle the GUI Options screen on/off).
/kbmhelp Display these commands in-game).
/kbmversion Displays the current version in chat.
/kbmreset Try this before using /reloadui, or if the encounter has ended in success didn't announce a victory.

/ReloadUI Use this in-case of any errors during the encounter. It'll reset it and the monitor "should" continue from where it left off.

    Super Meter has strangely dissappeared from the get addons list, and any meter i install with KBM cancels KBM nand cannot use both together. Closing the game and restarting makes all add ons  uninstall themselves.  All this started after i tried the SL beta and patches to 1.11

    Request for the ready-check summary plug in:

    It  will show in the summary whether one has a variety of foods up, for example a feast or some Farclan cake, but on the Serum/Potion column it will only show things like the high-end brightsurge buffs, but not the regular crafted wisdom or intelligence potions. Is it possible for these to be shown should a player have one going?

    It should already be showing Mighty Brightsurge and Powersurge Vials (the one down from Herioc). Or do you mean lower than these? (Can't remember off the top of my head what is below Mighty.)

    I believe this addon may be causing the port in window not to appear. I have disabled all other addons and I am guessing it is an addon issue and not a problem with the game itself.

    KBM and Addons in general have no control of the Rift UI. Such as the port in window. So I find it highly unlikely it's any Addon causing it and is either the Rift API, the Addon API or a combination of the two - but definately not Addons themselves.

    This looks like a start-up error. But, it's not something that's being reported by anyone meaning it could be local to your system. There are also no reports of this yet via my Error logs from Trion, which also points to an isolated case.

    I would first suggest re-installing KBM.

    Also, if you scroll through the chat window, make sure this is the first Error in the list, as start-up errors would generally mean something other than the final error.

    Thanks for a lovely addon.

    Is there anyway to disable to [KBM Messenger] stuff or move it to a combat chatwindow or something like that? I looked around in the options and couldnt seem to find anything related to those chatbox messages. I really dont like getting my main chat window spammed with 5 lines of new records when i kill a random boss in an expert.

    There will be shortly. The chat API has only recently just opened up to be able to use individual Console settings. But, it'll require some major rewriting due to how the old API system worked.

    But, the plus side is there will be more options available once implemented. These will include color, and selections for which tab (if any) you'd like certain messages displayed. This is all planned, and will be in some time around Storm Legion.

    I love the new update as it lets  me get rid of bossready (which did not work half the time and/or flooded my screan with errors) i have not seen any errors in YOUR addon yet that have not been mentioned below

    one feature i might liek to see if it is possible is to gray out the battle rezes that are dead so that at a quick glance one can see which ones are realy avalible, a few seconds finding a name in the raid to check for yourself can mean a lot

    Thanks krabcat,

    The good news is, Rez Master isn't finished yet and the greyed out dead players is penned in to appear ASAP. Ready Check just stole most of the development time, but once that has a few glitches and the rest of the options added, I'll get back to putting some quality of life improvements in to RM.

    There's still quite a list of improvements planned for a lot of things in KBM to make use of new API areas as and when they appear.
