About nkRebuff

What nkRebuff does is very simple: It tracks important buffs, cooldowns and debuffs and tells you what you are missing. So in difference to a buff bar addon which shows you how long a buff is still active, this addon will tell you exactly when to renew an important buff on you or debuff your target or when an important ability is ready again.

In the configuration you can tailor the list of things to be watched exactly to your needs. You can even change the default behaviour and show things as long as they are active.

nkRebuff has been heavily tuned to deliver the best performance possible. In almost every situation it will not even show up in the ingame addon performance tab. If you care about performance then nkRebuff is definitely the best choice to monitor buffs, debuffs and cooldowns.

There is a extensive ingame documentation of the addon available. Simply click on the option 'manual' in the nkRebuff menu you can access through the nkButton at the minimap.

    I love the Addon, especially for watching my debuff on targeted enemy with the"show when active" Option. And its very handy.

    But when i play Kabba theres always the same error.

    "Error: nkRebuff/processing/systemUpdate.lua:198: attempt to perform arithmetic on field 'cooldown' (a nil value)
        In nkRebuff / nkRebuff.System.Update.Begin, event Event.System.Update.Begin

    Personally i have no clue about luas or anything similiar. But its allways with lua198, the error.

    Edit : Today i made a Cabba Set without the DPs cds who change their behavior when the cabba changes his Exctinction skills, so that they change the max targeted enemies.

    btw...the extionction skills always occur the "new Skill" Message" at tyranny of death etc..

    And the error is gone :-)

    After installing the new 3.12.0 version of the addon I have an issue with only ONE of my characters. Most of my characters work fine but now when I try to switch roles on my MAGE it does NOT switch to the correct SET in nkRebuff. It just stays at the one that initially loaded at character boot. I posted about a similar problem here last time but never got a response. I tried sending an email to [email protected] as it states on the website but never got a response there either. How do I get help with the product since neither of these 'bug' reporting systems gets me any reply?

    I seem to have two recurring problems in in a certain spec on two of my chars:
    -On one, it keeps telling me one of my skills have been updated BUT when I go into nkRebuff and remove it then reanalyze and put the new one in, it says the same thing again a few minutes later. It doesn’t seem to want to recognize that I have put in a new icon for this new updated spec. Any ideas why it would continuously tell me the skill is new when it no longer is?
    -On the other char, in one spec I have a particular role assigned to it and have specific skill icons for it, but every time I go through a portal, it sets it to one of the other roles. I have it specifically set to one role but it keeps reverting back to another. It doesn’t do this for the other 3 roles for this character but for this specific role it reverts. Why would it do that when it has its own role assigned to it?

    Heya and thank you for an awsome addon. Been trying to change the transparancy on my active icons but cant figure out how to do it, pretty sure I could change it before? :P

    Any possibilty to get help with it? As it stands the active abilities is so transarent that I can hardly see them :)

    Every time I use Ace Shot I get the message:

    I guess you're still leveling your char? Trion's gives every new level of an ability an new internal ID and there's no way to link these. So currently the addon stores the name of the ability and tries to figure out if you get a new version it. For some reason the new rank is not properly stored for you.

    Actually nkRebuff ist focussing on max level chars. It somewhat works for leveling chars. However there are some rough edges if you use it below max level.

    I'm having a bit of a problem.  I love the addon, but when I'm playing, I get buffs stuck on the screen.  

    I've had this problem with both Planebound Resistance and Hellfire Blades on my rogue.  I have no idea why, but every once in a while one of the icons will get 'stuck' and won't clear, even if I cast the buff in question.  Reloading the UI, even unistalling and reinstalling the addon won't fix it.  I've had to settle for moving the stuck icons out of the way, which kind of defeats the purpose.

    Unfortunately wtih the new version, I'm unable to resize anything.  It seems to do well swapping bars iwth my spec swaps, but as soon as I entered a dungeon, that stopped working.  Getting a ton of errors up on the screen as well while configuring

    I really love what this adddon does but buffs from one role are showing up in others. I tried using sets too (nkRebuff set=#) and some of those bled into the other sets. I can't use it like this.

    Is anyone else getting LUA errors when configuring after latest update? I uninstalld all nk* mods, deleted all saved variable files and reinstall nkrebuff but continue to get errrors.  LOVE this addon but cant seem to get latest version to function.

    I love nk addons! Though, it may be because I'm retarded or otherwise, but I cannot get my warden HoTs to count down on my target unless my target is me. Am I doing it wrong or is there no way to fix that?
