About nkRebuff

What nkRebuff does is very simple: It tracks important buffs, cooldowns and debuffs and tells you what you are missing. So in difference to a buff bar addon which shows you how long a buff is still active, this addon will tell you exactly when to renew an important buff on you or debuff your target or when an important ability is ready again.

In the configuration you can tailor the list of things to be watched exactly to your needs. You can even change the default behaviour and show things as long as they are active.

nkRebuff has been heavily tuned to deliver the best performance possible. In almost every situation it will not even show up in the ingame addon performance tab. If you care about performance then nkRebuff is definitely the best choice to monitor buffs, debuffs and cooldowns.

There is a extensive ingame documentation of the addon available. Simply click on the option 'manual' in the nkRebuff menu you can access through the nkButton at the minimap.

    Just released nkRebuff Version 2.0.0. This is a complete rewrite of the addon from ground up. So many things have changed and so many bugs small and big been fixed, you wouldn't believe it. This new version is the result of a week's work.

    Unfortunately I couldn't bother to build a routine to transfer your old settings. So on start of the addon you'll have to set it up from scratch. Your old settings are saved however and if you'd like to use the old version nkRebuff you can reinstall it and you got your settings back. But how'd want to do that considering the major update nkRebuff V2.0.0 is

    Another thing is that nkWardrobe will not support nkRebuff set switching until I release a new version of that as well.

    As with every major release there's a big potenital of bugs. So if you find something amiss please let me know.

    love this addon, only 2 hitch's i've had so far, the tooltips can get stuck on screen if you click on a buff to ignore it (but don't get your mouse off in time), not really a big deal

    the other one is, it'd be real nice if the "show only in combat" feature was selectable for each group of buffs

    since i want to see target debuffs + combat cooldowns only dureing combat

    and i'd like to see buffs i may be missing\i forgot BEFORE combat so i can put them up

    either way, thanks for a great addon (you ever think of codeing a buffbar addon?, one that uses bars instead of icons to give a visual on time left rather then a number)

    hey buddy can you possibly have different roles set up for each config, reason i ask this is because i have 3 different dps and they all dont use the same buffs

    es scheint da ein Problem mit den buffs mit Dauer zu geben, wenn ein buff denselben namen hat wie eine permanente Fähigkeit.

    Ich rede von Pirscherphase, da es ja einmal ein permanenter buff ist und dann noch ein Buff mit 10 Sekunden dauer, nachdem man sich teleportiert hat. Es wäre nett wenn du dir das mal ansehen könntest, da es gerade für mich als Assastalker ziemlich wichtig ist. ^^

    Nimm den Buff 'Skruppelloser Pirscher'. Der wird gleichzeitig mit der Pirscherphase ausgelöst und dauert auch exakt gleich lang.

    Ok, daran hatte ich nicht gedacht. Muss zuviele Buffs bedenken bei den 5 Rollen die ich spielen muss/darf. Danke dir. ^^

    couple of issues, if you have multiple dps, it still shows the original dps set buffs, anyway to have more then just one dps set?

    doesn't seem to recognize "Combat Pose" when my rogue casts it on himself, can't find it under any of the Settings headers. also doesn't seem to pick up when i switch from "Predatory Instincts" to "Fleeting Instincts". It is configured to tell me when Predatory is down, but it never alerts me (not checking for Perm buffs?).

    i seem to get the cast time on my weakening essencenot the 2 min cooldown it has. am i missing somthing?

    Is there a way to delete a buff fronm another list .. I got Combat Preperation from someone else before i switched to  my spec with it and now i cant put it under my buffs with durations list

    So far you'd need to edit the saved variables manually. You can find them under

    RIFT Game\Interface\Saved\[YOUR EMAIL]\[YOUR SERVER]\[CHAR NAME]\Saved Variables\nkRebuff.lua


    Look for the buff name in brackets e.g. ["BUFFNAME"] and delete that plus the following part which is

    = { DETAILS },


    I'll look into a better differentiation of player buffs vs other player buffs.

    1.6.4 version came out and still are missing the Motif of bravery and motif of focus from bard. Plz fix it ,  tnx.

    I deleted the addon and all the info from the interface and isntalled it again and now it works fire.
