About nkRebuff

What nkRebuff does is very simple: It tracks important buffs, cooldowns and debuffs and tells you what you are missing. So in difference to a buff bar addon which shows you how long a buff is still active, this addon will tell you exactly when to renew an important buff on you or debuff your target or when an important ability is ready again.

In the configuration you can tailor the list of things to be watched exactly to your needs. You can even change the default behaviour and show things as long as they are active.

nkRebuff has been heavily tuned to deliver the best performance possible. In almost every situation it will not even show up in the ingame addon performance tab. If you care about performance then nkRebuff is definitely the best choice to monitor buffs, debuffs and cooldowns.

There is a extensive ingame documentation of the addon available. Simply click on the option 'manual' in the nkRebuff menu you can access through the nkButton at the minimap.

You can find videos on how to set it up on youtube:

Also z.B.

  • #36

  • #38

es wird das Heilersymbol angezeigt. Ansonsten funktioniert das Addon einwandfrei, zumidest was ich testen konnte.^^ Übrigens gute Arbeit. Tolles Addon.

That's a new option in the latest version. You can turn it of in the first page of the settings screen. In English the option is called something like 'Player Debuff Warning'.

Would it be possible to track buffs/hots on others ppl that yourself that you cast (can't imagine it being too hard since it can track debuffs on enemies, should be kinda same for buffs on allies). Would be VERY helpful for warden healers, and i guess others callings too.

And what about an option to lower the time left to begin tracking, with a cleric tank precept of something (forgot exact name, that block buff attack) it last for 7sec only, in whihc case the min of 5 sec is almost its full duration xD, wouldn't mind a 2-3sec only there, and while we ad it maybe be able to do different duration tracking for different buffs, or at least do a few categories you can sort buffs in with different timers in same buff set (whichever option is easiest to code)

It's actually not really that difficult to track third party buffs. But it has impact on the configuration window as I'd need to separate them from your personal buffs, which again means more coding ... Personally I don't need that option so I feel a lot of hesitation to spend time on something I don't need. Developping addons is time consuming enough already.

Lowering the time left is a solid request and can be done quite easily. I'll add that to a next version.
Tracking different durations is again another issue. That would need a complete rework of the configuration. Again I don't need it so I'll probably not spend time into it unless I can easily incoporate into another change.

still not updating sets when i change roles. i have role detection on, and the current sets are made based on my roles, but wont change.

Can't help you really. It works for me. Just tested it.

I can't get this to install.  I tried doing it through the curse client and it would not work, I also downloaded it manually and placed it into the addons folder and it still does not show up in game under the addons list.

Quote from mswanson00»First off, love the addon and the new gui. But I was wondering if there's a way to add your own buff or if you could update it to pick up Stalker Phase's 10 second buff after you port to an enemy. Even after using it on a dummy, it still only picks up the Perma Stalker Phase buff but not the duration buff you get from it after the port for 10sec. I'd like to see when I should port again to keep the buff up at all times. Attached a screen so you understand if any confusion.

I am able to track the buffs "Planar Vortex" (Ebenenwirbel) and "Rift Barrier" (Riss Barriere) with this addon, both appearing after you port to an enemy.

So I can see when it would be helpful to port again.

Quote from Naifu »Look for the buff 'Ruthless stalker'. This one is triggered by teleports and works perfectly for timing them.

"Ruthless Stalker" works anyway, but is not always availiable for non-51 riftstalker tanks.

BTW: incredible helpful addon for rogue tanks, easiest way to keep shields up.

    Couldn't live without it ;)

    Thx Naifu!
