About Rattus

Rift Achievement Tracker - RAT - Rattus

Rattus will allow you to track Achievement progress in a similar way that the Quest Tracker does.

Right click the Rattus icon (on the main Rattus window - NOT the minimap Rat icon!) to open up the search screen. You can use the mousewheel to scroll through this selection.

Using the mousewheel on the titlebar icon will change the scale of the windows.

Search for the achievement you wish to add, and click it to add/remove it from the current active set.

You can also remove them by leftclicking the achievement icon.

Completed achievements or requirements are show in green.

You can drag the tracker around by left-clicking and dragging the rat icon.

Mouseover the Rattus titlebar to reveal the icon controlpanel : Left to Right :

  • Go to previous achievement set
  • Toggle display of completed objectives
  • Toggle display of progress text
  • Toggle display of progress bars
  • Toggle activation of autozone
  • Delete current set (RIGHT CLICK)
  • Go to next achievement set

Right clicking the minimap icon will hide any open UI screens, clicking a second time will show any that were showing when they were hidden.

NEW: autozone

This is a feature where Rattus will load a set matching your current zone automatically.

If your current set is 'Normal', and you have one called 'Ember Isle' then it will switch to Ember Isle, when you set foot on EI, and switch back to Normal when you leave.

To aid in setting up sets, you can do (where ZONE is literal)

/rattus new ZONE

And it will create a new set based on your current zone name, without you have to type it in exactly correctly.

/rattus autozone -- toggles autoloading of sets that match the zonename
/rattus hidecomplete -- toggles display of completed objectives
/rattus progress text -- toggles display of progress text
/rattus progress bars -- toggles display of progress bars
/rattus add NAME -- Adds the achievement(s) called NAME to the current set
/rattus delete NAME -- Removes the achievement(s) called NAME to the current set
/rattus load NAME -- makes the set NAME active
/rattus copy NAME -- copies the current set to NAME
/rattus new [NAME] -- creates a new set [called NAME]
/rattus rename NAME -- renames the current set to NAME
/rattus deleteset [NAME] -- deletes the set NAME, or current set if no name given
/rattus list -- lists all currents sets

With 3.0, there are branches in the achievement tree that have more than 3 tiers, such as Zones -> Rift -> Freemarch -> Artifacts of Freemarch.

Currently, Rattus only supports up to 3 tiers, so that I can never use it to track such events. Is there any chance on this being updated?

  • #30

Until there is an update i had to put the Addon ID codes from achivements in the save files so they can appear :S

Not sure what you've moved off screen =P

One of the following should help. Note you will need to /reloadui or logout/login in order for the repositioning to take effect.

    minimap icon:  /script Rattus_Settings.mmx = 100 Rattus_Settings.mmy = 100

    search window: /script Rattus_Settings.srchx = 100 Rattus_Settings.srchy = 100

    tracker window: /script Rattus_Settings.x = 100 Rattus_Settings.y = 100

Gorgeous! Thank you so much for your quick response! Got my tracker window back. ♥

Sooo. This is a stupid thing I've done, but maybe you can help. I was moving my rattus list around and I managed to move it outside of the UI, and now I can't get to the button to drag it back to where I need it. Is there any way to reset this addon to it's absolute default? I tried uninstalling the addon and reinstalling and it kept my preferences and everything. So uh, any thoughts?

the new version is horrible. you can't scroll thru searching your acheivments, the UI is (sorry) ugly to me. the 2nd pic you got up is mainly what im talking about.... WTF happened? it looked SOOOO clean before... now i got a picture of some  rat or w/e that icon is supposed to be in 320p resolution if that...

i "lovED" the addon.. any chance of fixing it to be more user friendly (and easier on the eyes?)

I've changed the icon to be the achivement icon as seen on the background.

Regarding the other icons - they should only be visible if your mouse is in the options area, else they should be hidden.

I will look into allowing a scrollable search in the list - couldnt think of a clean way to do this when I first did it.

actually my biggest complaint is the lack of being able to scroll thru the achievments.. it wants to zoom my char in and out not scroll up and down the list

1.10r2 now scrolls through the list using the mousewheel

Heya. I just installed Rattus, but when I'm ingame I don't see a thing about achievements.

All I see is the Rattus 'bar' and some numbers beneath it.
And whatever I click on the bar nothing changes.
So do I have to do something to see achievements beneath the bar?
I also tried the search button, but nothing happens. No where a place where I can type or something.
I will  add some screenshots to show what I see on my Rift screen.

Well it seems they remove the images. Cry  Strange. But with the links you can see the images

    Hi Yelina2,

Right click the Rat icon, that opens up the search window, where you can add achievements to the current set.

On a clean install, you wont have any sets defined, so Rattus creates one for you based on current date and time. You will need to use the /rattus commands to rename it, or create one with something other than default name.

The description does say all this =)

Ahh! The minimap icon came later - I will update the top post to reflect WHICH rat icon I mean - thanks for pointing out the documentation flaw =)
