About TCB

Shows your targets cast bar in a seperate (movable) window.

To see all available options:

/tcb

Options summary:

/tcb this - this will set tcb watching your CURRENT target, even if you then change targets, it will continue watching the 'this' target.

/tcb target - will go back to watching your active target, changing as you change targets.

/tcb scale N.NN - applies a scaling to the window to change its size, either larger (scale >1) or smaller (scale <1)

/tcb deplete - the bar starts full and empties as time runs out

/tcb fill - the bar starts empty and fills as time runs out

/tcb reset - resets all options to their defaults

If you do not like my choice of colours for the bars and text, then you can specify your own!

/tcb col bi|bu|ti|tu R G B

bi - Interruptible Bar color bu - Non-Interruptible Bar color ti - Interruptible Text color tu - Non-Interruptible Text color

R/G/B are numbers in the range 0-1

For example, to set the interruptible bar color to what the default is:

/tcb col bi 0.16 0.1 0.5

Not the most convenient way of doing it, but in lieu of a colour picker window being available, it does at least offer the option.

/tcb textsize NN - sets fontsize

/tcb remain/total - shows SpellName [remain/total]

/tcb remain - shows SpellName [remain]

/tcb total - shows SpellName [total]

/tcb nameonly - shows SpellName

/tcb lines - toggles castbar text display between 1 and 2 lines

/tcb focus - watches current active focus target

/tcb targettarget - watches current target's target

/tcb border - toggles display of border

/tcb channel - toggles bar direction for channeled spells

/tcb truncate - toggles whether text that is too long for the bar is truncated

/tcb align L/C/R - aligns bar text

/tcb interrupt - toggles display of all spells or only those that are tagged as interruptible

/tcb alpha - sets an overall base alpha

/tcb prec 0/1/2 - sets the number of decimals to use

/tcb custom X Y - sets the bar to exactly X x Y pixels

/tcb config - toggles display of castbar. Can be dragged and shows other changes as they are made (replaces lock/unlock)

/tcb undo - undoes any changes made this session

    Thanks for this nice one of an addon. My question is, could it be possible to add castbar to see what the targets target is doing. I'm healer and with my focus on the tank in pve I cannot clearly see what some e.g. mages are doing. But with a fitting castbar for them I could use @mouseover stuff to silence them and spare some time.

    Target's target should be doable. I'll add it in to the next release (which will probably be when they hot fix the sliders issue, so I can include the config screen Im working on)

    Excellent, thanks for this. Can you please code in the ability to change the size/color of the font inside the cast bar? White text on a blue/grey bar can be rough on the eyes. Thank you in advance.

    The 0.4 version allows you to specify your own colours for both bar and text elements.

    I have also changed the colours a bit so the contrast should be better anyway.

    I believe you are my new best friend! It's IMPOSSIBLE to miss when to do an interrupt in DH or GP now! And it's even more awesome in pvp! Always being able to get that interrupt on big heals, or mortality and stuff in time is key.
    Before it was a pain, since the damn cast bar for enemies is so tiny, but this makes life soooo much easier.
    Love this add-on! Thank you sooooooo much for this!

    Not yet. The player.focus(target) unit string is not in game.

    This is why I added the "/tcb this" command.

    Target the mob you want to use, do /tcb this, and then set it as focus.

    A bit cumbersome, but as a workaround it works.

    I would suggest keeping the mob as focus though, since I have noticed if I have MobA targetted, MobB as focus, and /tcb this on MobC, that it doesnt catch all spells that MobC casts. If I have MobC as focus target, I never saw one that it missed (I sat there for 30 mins with a low level caster mob attacking me)
