About ExtraActionBars

I'm very very sorry, but it seems that I can't work currently on the adddon, as I'm working on an much bigger project. As soon as this will release(planned at summer 2014), I will work on ExtraActionBars again, but until then the work here is frozen. Sorry again :( (I will of course still do my best to give best support to the addon)


What is ExtraActionBars?

ExtraActionBars is a addon, which will add more ActionBars. This means you have now 120 instand of 80 actionbar-fields, which you can configurate seperate and which all can have other, functionally hotkeys. ExtraActionBars is also able to save the skills,which set on that, for each class combinations seperate. So you have different actionbars for different class combinations, for example you will have other skills as Mage/Dudu in the actionbars as you have as Mage/Thief.

Of course this addon is useable in the AddonManager :) The slash command, which can the addon use, are(since v3.00):

  • /eab bzw /extraactionbars to toggle the mainframe
  • /eab on to activate the addon
  • /eab off to deactivate the addon
  • /eab toggle to toggle the addon activation

Also, since v3.00 ExtraActionBars is able to work with GroupInvite together (needed at least GroupInvite v2.3.460). Then the config frame of ExtraActionBars will "jump" into the config frame of GroupInvite as an extra page. This allow some futures like a better overview over the hotkeys of each field.

How to instal an addon

  • Open your Runes of Magic game folder
  • Open the folder "Interface" in your Game folder. If this is your first addon, you have to create this folder.
  • Open the folder "Addons" in this Interface folder. If this is your first addon, you have to create this folder.
  • Extract the downloaded in the Addons folder.
  • Start the Game. Now should ExtraActionBars work :)

  • Fixed the wheel function at sliders

Knowing buggs:
  • The skills won't be red if you havn't enought mana/arrows/etc or if you are too fare away
First released Version
  • Functionally work of skills of the skillbook and items of the bag :)
  • Save all configurations for each class (combination) seperate :)

Actually, this addon is only on english, but i will translate it in other language as fast as i can :)

    The seperate action bars for different class combos doesn't work? If I change something on my warrior/warden it also changes for my warrior/rogue... Am I missing something or is this currently broken?

    This is a bug which happens sometimes, in next version this will be fixed :) (Well, I'm working at an other huge project at the moment, so my work at my Runes of Magic addons is temporarly frozen, but I hope to be able to release new versions of both of my addons in January 2013...)

    I'm also sorry, I have no really good ideas to fix this. A clean-save(start the game without the addon and close it without an crash) could fix this, but it could also cause a nearly same bug....

    I will try to hurry up to fix this and other bugs as fast as possible :)

    Could need some time because I rewrite some parts of the code (for example the code of the hotkey-system), and I'm working on two other projects, so i think the update could be released in the next two months...(Well, this is only a thought release date, so maybe I will need more than two months...)

    I still love this addon but ........ I have 3 major issues:

    1) no Cooldowns for pots or food

    2) siege title skills do not properly work on the skill bar (ie: cannot put more than 1 on the bar at a time)

    3) cannot use macros still

    so basically I am trying to go half and half with this addon and the other skill bars so I can have the ability of different skills for the different class combos but also use pots (properly) and macros

    Keep up with the good work though :)

    Hi :)

    to 1): Well, I will try to fix this^^ The bag API of RoM uses two different numbers for each item, for some functions the one number and for some the others, thats a little bit confusing, but I will try my best :D

    to 2): I wonder that you even can put a siege title skill into the bars because as far as I know I didn't make a support for this xD I will also try to allow (more than one) siege title skill into the bars, but I can't promise that it will work because I haven't a char which have any siege war skills^^ Maybe I will look for some beta-testers when I think my code would work ^^

    to 3): Do you mean you cannot use any macros in the bars or only macros which use a /wait command? Because for the addon it's impossible to execute something like a skill after a wait command(as long as we follows the AGB and RoM doesn't have an other API^^ Maybe it would be able if I make an additional programm, but if EAB would use something like this, it would not be only an addon and it would be in breach of the AGB...). But problems like "cannot execute a macro without a /wait command" would be fixable :) I will simply take a look and try to fix any possible problem which can be fixed :)

    Yes def need an update :) Not only have I been having the bars reset, both placement and what's in them, i now have a actionbar that's stuck wierdly, and it won't go past the middle :/ dunno what happened, but yeah <3

    I try to get an update as fast as possible, but i'm a bit busy at the moment because I work also on GroupInvite and on a project for an other game^^

    when i use this i tend to get skipping frames and it make sit almost impossible to play. any ideas?

    What du you mean with skipping frames? which frames?^^

    Have you maybe other addons which could cause inkompatibility problems?

    Hey Bizzarrus,

    Great addon! When i switch from one class to another it reset itself and i have to reconfig it.

    Is there away to save skill to the hotbars, for each combo like r/s and r/k, s/k and s/r?

    i reinstalled it and all my other addons aswell and it is saving them now.
