About Instance Map Fix

Fixes the display of instance maps in the World Map viewer.

This is a very simple alternative to WoWmap for people who don't need the extra features and just want the instance maps to be shown properly.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • If you're missing any maps, you should try installing Instance Map Fix v0.5+ along with WoWMap Instances. The WoWMap Instances addon isn't totally necessary, but in some cases it may help.
  • You may have missing maps if you've installed the Runes of Magic Slim Client, or if you haven't downloaded a full version of Runes of Magic since version 3.0.1 (updating through the RoM Launcher doesn't help). See previous note on how to fix it.
  • It's been mentioned that you can install Instance Map Fix and WoWmap together, but I have not tested it and I don't support such installations. I recommend that you only install one or the other.

    Have you tested this addon's compatability with WoWmap? I've taken the worldmap folder out, but would still like the functionality of the addon, but it doesn't seem to display the instance maps while wowmap is still installed. I'll try without wowmap and see if that works.

    No, I haven't tested it with WoWmap. This addon is sort of an alternative to WoWmap for people who just want to see instance maps but don't need any other features that WoWmap provides. I recommend installing one or the other, but not both.

    As far as I can tell, the RoM developers haven't created these maps yet, so they can't be added.

    Frogster decided not to implement the maps not Runewaker.
    Runewaker has the maps for the missing instances. But for now you'll have to wait for other publishers to add the new content in their client for using the maps here, too ^^
    Maybe there's a small chance with the new CH 3 client to have the missing maps inside ;)

Also, this addon does not require you to download any map packs since the game already has the maps, but they are part of another localization of the game. This addon simply tells the game to look in another place when loading dungeon (instance) maps."

    Unless its in the game already, they might not be able to do anything about it.
