About Pet Auto Event
Pet Auto Event
Description
A Pet Event hidden timer starts when you summon your pet, when you change zones that forces the pet summoned dialog to appear, or after a PEt Event gets triggered. The server-side timer is random between 1-3 hours in increments of 10 minutes (ie. 60,70,80,90,... minutes). Sadly there is no way to predict the next event due to the inability to read this server-side timer. All events will timeout after 5 minutes. This addon will allow you to select the rewards you want from the Pet Events and it will auto reply whenever a Pet Event happens.
All Pet Events can be grouped into one of 4 groups based on the set of rewards you get for answering them.
Group 1:
- +0.05 Strength
- +0.05 Dexterity
- +0.05 Stamina
Group 2:
- +0.05 Intelligence
- +0.05 Wisdom
- +0.01 Aptitude
Group 3:
- + 1 Loyalty
- +10 Nourishment
- +10 Training
Group 4:
- +50 Experience
- +5 Talent Points
- Gift from your pet (Gasha like item that opens to give you a random pet based item)
Usage
use /pae to configure, follow the prompts for a simple setup. This addon is very simple and basic so it will not be getting, nor does it need, a GUI config screen. All settings are save unique per character.

Hiya Mavoc
Great addon btw but I've found an odd bug :(
I'm using a few addons but recently added pet auto craft. Once added when I return to char select or restart the game my UI will reset and it would appear no amount of saving settings and relogging will cure it. Just resets it fairly instantly. Testing a few things I added in the addon, started the client and again my UI was reset. I ended process with client.exe to crash before saving and when I loaded rom again my UI was again reset almost like it is crashing the saved variables on loading?
I've had to remove pet auto craft as my ui resetting was getting rather tiring heh. I hope you can figure this out as it's beyond me :P

edit: ahh dang posted on wrong addon, my problem is actually with pet auto craft
I get error messages when this is running, two examples are:
call PetInfoFrame's OnEvent, line: [string "?"]:291: attempt to index global 'os' (a nil value)
call IVFrame's OnEvent, line: [string "?"]:3020: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
I have no other pet addon, so am assuming it is this, as it is also not working for me. OS is 7, 64 bit system. I've installed it once via curse cliant, unistalled it, installed it manually, uninstalled it, installed via curse again. It is the current version listed. set all 4 options.
Any suggestions?
These errors are not PAE, and it should be working fine.
IVFrame = Inventory Viewer (I think)
PetInfoFrame = Pet Info
I'll accept that the errors are not from your addon, but I reiterate, your addon is not working for me. I don't know if there could be a conflict with other addons, if I need to do something I have not (installed, set choices, left it from there), or what.
I also will still say that the error messages I get are due to your program, because, if it is not installed, I do not get any error messages. And ever error message I get mention 'OnEvent' .
Did you set up all 4 options or just option 1?
Sounds like you set otion 1, however if the questions were not in group 1 you would see no increase. ^.*
