About BagOMatic

Overview

Automatically sorts your backpack contents respecting your filters settings. Items are sorted by their attributes (e.g. type, rarity, level). Starting version 0.10 items are consolidated (stacked) together whenever you pack or sort.

BagOMatic saves bag filters by default, so you don't loose them when you reload or relog.

Dependencies

BagOMatic requires LibSlash for /bom commands to work.

Command list
  • /bom sort Organizes your backpack (sort all items)
  • /bom sortbank Same as /bom sort but for your bank
  • /bom sortcraft Sort crafting items
  • /bom sortcurrency Sort currency items
  • /bom sortall Sort all backpacks (items, crafting, currency)
  • /bom pack Remove all empty spaces in your backpack without sorting them
  • /bom reset Resets all bag filters
Macros

You can use these macros for BagOMatic:

  • /script BagOMatic.cmd_sort() == /bom sort
  • /script BagOMatic.cmd_sortbank() == /bom sortbank
  • /script BagOMatic.cmd_pack() == /bom pack

    Hi Eloora,

    I don't want to change the existing functions. I will add a /bom sortall for next version. I am also checking how to do the guild vault properly.

    The addon worked like a champ a couple of times, but I had left my bags open and did /bom sort and it packed everything at the top of my bags. No more sorting. I've cleared the filters and reset them, but still packs everything at the top.

    Any suggestions?

    I'm having the same issue. BOM doesn't seem to care what my filters are set to at all.

    Not quite working as I would expect. I set usability to never and my mount, liniments I use often, book of binding, my crests, all end up there. I also set one to pots, trophy, and accesory and got odd results also. One thing it doesn't go top down which I prefer as new items tend to come in that way.

    Hey ErylFlynn,
    This is because of the Mythic's backpack implementation. It must be a bug, I guess. The Usability preferences do not work unless you select an item type preference at the same bag. You should try the Usability with Weapons, Armor, Potions ...
    The other thing is the same. Mythic's backpack implementation does not allow you to mix some preferences such as the ones you mentioned (pots and accessory)

    since the invader token doubling just today it seems they arent sorting properly using /bom sort. my invader crests are sitting toward the bottom of my bag

    Unfortunately I play on EU server, mythic probably changed the itemID. I will update as soon as I get the new ID.

    So does this work as a "filter saver" for your bags between logs?

    Or does it save the filters as its own file, and then you have to use /bom sort and it will move the items.
