Preamble

There may appear some changes to the way settings are saved, so if you want the possibility of downgrading back to another version, please back up the Effigy folders in:

  • user/settings/GLOBAL and
  • user/settings/<yourserver>/<yourprofile>.

Upgrades are automatic, downgrades are not.

Beta Preamble

A beta is a beta is a beta, as I´m not only updating / fixing, but am in the process of doing some huge recodes, it is possible new bugs appear. When I tag a beta, I consider the addon usable, but not polished and hope for your reports - good bug reports are worth very much since I obviously cannot notice as much as you all do in the same time span.

Patch Note History

You can always use /effigy to bring up the configuration menu, no matter what. If LibAddonButton or the RV_Mods Manager are found on your system, they will be supported.

    Just downloaded EFFIGY, so far it's cool, like all the custom looks you can get. But I can't seem to get the look of the screenshot above, YakUI 1.3.5......is there a tutorial, or guide or something that I can get to get the results of that screenshot??

    But I have a problem, I can't see keepdoor's HP when I operate the ram in RvR
    And I don't know why ? can you help me?

    btw, in my experience, HuD will disappear when use "ANY" World Object, like ram or cannon, hope this useful :)

    i guess there is an error in Rules\EffigyRule.lua, string 176. it works only after i replaced "Addon.CareerNames[source.career].name" with "Addon.CareerNames[source.extra_info.career][2]".
    tu for Effigy though, it's really nice.

    Just downloaded Effigy, and it's great, except for one thing...I'm trying to get my player frame to disappear when not in combat and at full health. Which it does with PlayerHP's Dynamic Visibility set to CombatorNotFull, but the background stays there regardless. I have a sort of brownish, semi-transparent box that fills with the HP and AP and all when in combat, but when not in combat is just...there...and I can't figure out how to make it fade too, or even just go completely away. Can anyone help?

    With images and labels there´s an option affecting the behaviour of global visibility rules. If the "parent" of this child element is set to a non-Bar element, for example to "Root", it won´t inherit the show/hide assignment from the bar, because it´s not its parent.
    I´m unsure if I should bandaid that, because when one knows this, there are also tricks thinkable with this behaviour being the intended one.

    Easy fix should be just using the same visibility rule on the image/label in question.

    2.6.6 lost pet frame on SH and can't set it again, someone have this problem?

    Might have something todo with that I fixed the "Show with Friendly Target" Option (formerly known as "Show with target"). So Bars could have this option checked and now that it works be hidden without a target. Please check that this is not enabled on your Pet Bar.

    Trying Effigy. Really like the HUD-Glow layout but I am missing the player Health and AP bars. The Friendly and Hostile Target bars are visible. Suugestions on how I can get all four bars as shown in the above screenshot please?
