About Enemy

Description

This addon provides couple of features to help organized group of players during RvR/PvE combat.

  • Creates hidden chat channel (called "intercom channel" or intercom) for internal communication with others
  • Allows broadcasting target to intercom channel and change your target to the last target being broadcasted.
  • Tracks down RvR kills in current zone and show informational window with kill/death statistics for players (called "zone kill stats window")
  • Tracks player personal kill/death ratio ("player KDR") both for current zone and global (until player manually resets it using KDR window context menu)
  • Allows you to create custom graphical mark presets (templates) and mark players with them
  • Shows icons above heads of all players in your group (clicking on icons will target corresponding groupmate) and warband/scenario.
  • Custom, reliable and fast and fully customizable unitframes which supports:
    • click casting
    • range displaying
    • los/distant fading
    • morale indication
    • fully configurable any part of unitframe - from career icon to background frame
    • career/archetype/percent based colored hp bar
    • faster than some other popular unitframes addons player status update

Usage

The first (and in many cases the only) thing you must do is to create or join intercom channel. It's a hidden text channel (just like /say, /1, etc.) that will be used for communication between other players. Only players in the same intercom channel will be able to communicate with each other.

  1. Locate the Enemy Addon icon (usually under the minimap). If you left click on it the "intercom channel" dialog will appear. If you right click on it the context menu will appear. For now left click it.
  2. A dialog will appear. From there you have two ways - either to create your own intercom channel (and invite others) or ask for existing intercom channels (if you think there is one).
  3. Lets say you don't know if there is an intercom channel in your group. So you must create one. Just click on "Create" and wait till the Enemy icon addon lights up with green. It means that intercom channel successfully created and you can invite others to join your group.
  4. Left click icon again and in the dialog that will appear click on "Invite" button. Then select the chat channel you want to broadcast your invite to and click "OK". That is all. If your friend got Enemy addon installed the dialog will appear with invitation to join your intercom channel.
    After intercom channel is settled you can use Enemy addon for help with assists. Open Enemy addon configuration (right click on Enemy addon icon) and go to "Assist section". Drag two macroses from there on your hotkey bar. By clicking on "Enemy: Mark" macro you will "mark" your targets for other in intercom channel to receive a message about it (you will receive it to as a confirmation about successful intercom message broadcast). By clicking "Enemy: Target" macro you will assist to most recent player who is "marked" the target that was broadcasted into your current intercom channel.


Configuration

Right click Enemy addon icon to bring up the context menu and from there you can either hide/show some other Enemy addon's windows or open configuration dialog. Also almost all Enemy addon windows can be right-clicked to bring up context menu. The size of Enemy addon windows can be tweaked in ingame Layout editor (game main menu -> Customize interface -> Layout editor). Almost all Enemy addon windows can be dragged freely on the screen (but you can still use layout editor to move them too).


Unit frames

By default unitframes sorting is enabled. You can change this and many other unitframes options in configuration dialog. Be advised that if you use groupmates targeting with keyboard (keybinding for group member 1, 2, etc) then you'll probably gonna need to disable group sorting (it's easy to do - just open the configuration dialog and go to unit frames section). One of the biggest feature of Enemy addon unitframes is custom effects indicators. By default this indicators are added: your guard on groupmate, others guard on groupmate, any hex/aligment/curse you can dispell, your HoT, your buff/blessing (except HoT), outgoing heal debuff, incomming heal debuff, stagger, DoK/WP regen. You can add your custom effect indicators via Enemy addon configuration dialog.
Please be advised that Warhammer game client does not always have actual information about players (hp/effects). Specially outside of your group. The best way to force client to get the actual data about the player state is to simply target him.

Scenario info

Click with mouse left/right button on values to display players in list 1/2. Right-click on last two columns in players list to change them. Note that the penultimate row content will be automatically set based on values you're clicked (for example, clicking on healers will make it display "Healing" values).
You can also open Enemy addon configuration and go to "Scenario info" section and drag a macro from there on your toolbar to toggle scenario info window on/off.

    first of all, big thx for that great addon!!!

    So my combat stats will never change :( but i see that you asked someone, if he is not using the english client - so i am using the german version or better the "denglish" it´s mixed deutsch (german) and english :D

    So possible to make the stats run under german client also?

    No, sorry. I've created regular expression parsing for english combat log only. Had no time for other languages.

    You can switch you client to english lang by typing this in game:

    I can't get the combat log stats and defense /enemy defense windows to work. everything is tunred on in combat log configuration but nothing happens in them even with a heavy melee scenario.

    anyone got any advice?

    Do you got some kind of error (your can view them with Busted addon)?

    Or maybe you have non English client?

    And have you tried to reset combat log settings (in enemy addon configuration, select "Combat log" section and click on "Reset" button on the bottom - this will reset only combat log related settings).

    Sorry, I don't have that addon. It's probably TSCC fault since it's pretty old addon. Try to contact his author. I say that TSCC does not correctly intercept some events or hooks.

    After lengthy error search I found the conflict.

    Seems Enemy Combat Log features cannot coexist with Tortalls Simplified Combat Chat addon. Even if TSCC hasn't had any custom tabs set up. Just loading the addon prevents Enemys Combat Log portion to fail apearing on screen.

    Any chance you can spot the conflict maybe? I'd much prefer running both as I use them for different things

    Technically yes - it's all about settings in Enemy\SavedVariables.lua (text file) and settings with names started with "unitFrames".

    Also you could try to import/export each unit frame effect indicators/ect. (see config).

    I'll try that.

    Any way to save the Unit Frame layout so I can copy that back in afterwards? Would hate to have to redo all that again

    Well, damn. If there are no errors in Busted then enemy working correctly. I can only suggest to quit the game and delete Enemy folder in settings directory: Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\user\settings\{ServerName}\{YourCharacterName}\{ProfileName}\Enemy

    Note that this will reset all Enemy settings.

    using UK version.

    Busted shows no error on anything with multiple reloadui commands. All boxes in combat log menu ticked but nothing comes in the summary window, and the HUD boxes are also empty and no defense/attack windows get filled.

     

    Its basically like the entire portion is not working. And using Reset makes no difference.

    Select him and press mark again - this will toggle off mark from him.
