About Motion
Motion
Motion is a streamline user interface for the apothecary and talisman professions offering the following features:
- One click making of multiple items
- Right click menu listing the items available for that crafting slot
- Save and load recipes with a few mouse clicks.
You can show and hide the Motion window using "/motion" if you have LibSlash installed, or you can use "/script Motion.Toggle()" if you would like to create a macro to open/close the Motion window.
Using Motion
Once Motion is installed, you will find the Motion window in the center of the screen. You can move the Motion window using the Layout Editor built into the Warhammer client. After you have the proper home for the Motion window, its time to have fun! Head to the upper left hand corner of Motion and right click the empty box. This is the container box and will display a list of all available containers within your regular and crafting inventory, though they are limited to those that you can use for your crafting level. Once you have selected a container its time to select a determinant, which is also performed by right clicking the determinant button. Upon selecting a determinant one to three resource windows will appear to the right. The number of these is based upon the determinant and what it requires for resources. You can select resources just like you selected the container and determinant. If you happen to select the wrong item, you can select a new item to replace the current, or you can left click the button to clear it completely.
As you add resources, you will notice the status orb in the upper right corner change color. This color is similar to the default crafting windows and lets you know the "chance of success" with the current ingredients. The goal is to achieve a green status. Once you are happy with the status, head to the lower left hand corner and enter in the number of items you wish to make. Want to make 1? 20? 40? 500? Put in the desired outcome and click the green Plus button. Motion will then perform a few checks to make sure everything checks out and if all goes well, you will see the item creation process starting and the Plus button will turn red. This is now the "stop" button, should you wish to stop crafting before the entered number of makes.
Once you have finished making that item, you can use the Minus button to clear the currently slotted ingredients. Or perhaps you like the item you made so much you want to save the recipe? Head to the Recipe button, it looks like a sheet of paper, and left click. You will be prompted to give the recipe a name and it is then saved in your list of recipes. When you come back to crafting and want to make that same item, you can right click the Recipe button and see a list of saved recipes.
As any addon user knows there are always some configuration options and Motion is not without a few. In the lower right hand corner is the Configuration button, which you can use to bring up the configuration dialog. There are few options here that are enabled by default. You can mouse over the option text to get a better description of what each one does to decide if you wish to disable them, however, most of them are safety related. Its pretty embarrassing when you get rolled while making an intelligence potion rather than that damage ability you just smashed into the keyboard.
Need a picture to help put this all together? Here ya go!
There is 1 major nuance of Motion, due to side effects of the default UI:
- When you open the default apothecary or talisman making windows, they like to clear the current crafting ingredients out from under Motions feet. To help alleviate any issues caused by this, Motion will stop crafting if you in the middle of a make, just to make sure you do not waste ingredients.
A word of thanks goes out to Irinia of Miracle Grow Remix. The context menu layout used in MGR is a superstar and to help keep a similar look and feel a slightly modified version is used in Motion.

Bugs & Suggestions
Have an idea that you think should be added to Motion, or perhaps you found an issue you would like to report?
Head to CurseForge and report it here. This way it can get documented, and I receive an email when the ticket comes in so I can prioritize accordingly. Its much easier than scouring the posts on Curse, Warhammer Alliance, VN, etc.

The new patch seemed to break the config file again. I can't save any recipes or the position of the gui between logins. I have tried deleting the config files and reinstalling the mod.
was having the same problem of motion returning to its default position after every relog or /reloadui, but found that if i disabled State of Realm(its broken anyway) then motion worked fine.
Hope that helps any1 that was having the same problem
Cheers
Might be a problem with localized game. Our server forces character names to be in Russian, which might in turn interfere with data saving, since character names are part of the path.
Although, even if it does, it must be something specific, since no other mod I have installed behaves like this.
(this happens in both 1.2.2 and 1.2.0, maybe even in earlier versions, can't say for sure, been over a year since I used earlier versions, i think...)
Check for the saved var files in: \user\settings\GLOBAL\Motion try to delete the ones there with the client shutdown to see if that helps.
If that doesnt, bring up the motion configuration window, and click Profiles on the right. On the Profiles window click the "Reset Profile" button. This will reset all configuration information, and in doing so, if there is a corrupt SavedVars file it should fix it up.
Go to WARDIR\user\settings\SERVERNAMEHERE\CHARACTERNAMEHERE\Motion
