About Phantom
Phantom is a tool to hide portions of the default unit frames in WAR (and/or the associated default buff frames). It is a wrapper around PhantomLib, which provides the core functionality (and can be integrated into other unit frame addons if desired, for use independently of the GUI Phantom provides.
If you have LibSlash installed, use /phantom to open the settings window. If not, use /script Phantom.Show() to open it.
Current things Phantom (and thus PhantomLib) can hide from the default UI:
- Player status frame
- Player buffs
- Group status frames
- Group buffs
- Target status frames
- Target buffs
- Warband status frames
- Scenario group status frames
- Pet status frame
- Pet stance control
- Pet action bar
- Main Assist button
- Action Bar "lock" button
- Social Window "heads" button
- Influence bar
- Any of the 4 action bars
- Stance bar
- Any of the extra elements of the minimap

[UiLog][Error]: (Phantom) Script Call failed - Error while calling [Phantom.OnLoad]:[string "Interface\AddOns/Phantom/PhantomLib/PhantomLib.lua"]:512: attempt to call field 'show' (a nil value)
and when trying to type /script Phantom.show() it shows this:

Any solutions to this? or an update if needed?
It removes all functionality that hides top level window, which can now be done through the Layout Editor. All remainung broken functions were fixed.

If you are searching for a addon that disables the background functionality of the hidden toplevel windows like the group window or the battlegroup window, take a look at DeepSleep.

getting a weird bug, if phatom is enabled i can't click anymore on
warbands and scenarios group frames
As far as I can tell, enabling Phantom (even without having it hide any UI components) somehow messes with the layering of various windows in my UI. For example, I had my Warband Party 1 window at the same size and location as my Scenario Party 1 window and once I enabled Phantom I was no longer able to click on my wb members. Dragging the Warband Party 1 window across the screen so that it wasn't overlapping with anything solved the problem. I then partly overlapped the two windows: at that point I could click on the names (or even -parts- of the names) that didn't overlap with the SC party 1 window, but not on the ones that did.
I didn't test this exhaustively with the other windows on my screen, but overlapping with other mod windows didn't seem to cause a problem. I can do more testing to find out if there are default windows other than SC parties that have this conflict, if that would be helpful.
Thanks,
Rif
The only time I seem to have a problem clicking on people in my warband is when the Warband Party window overlaps with a Scenario Party window. As I mentioned before, when there is only partial overlap I can successfully click anywhere on the Warband Party window that isn't overlapped.
I disabled all mods except phantom and still had this behavior.

Got a minor problem though: Everytime I join a Scenario, as soon as the timer starts at 15:00, the default Scenario groups appear and persist until my first death, after which they miraculously vanish again.
It's starting to become a little annoyance so I was wondering, if there's any way to fix this or if it is a known issue even! :)
Still, mad props and cheers for this mod (and all your others!)
If the Scenario is already running, the default group frames actually stay hidden.
They only become visible, when I'm in the Scenario, when the starting countdown flips.
Curious as to what causes this.
