v1.3.3 fixes option checkboxes and adds the option to not change the targets bordercolor on LOS.
  • #33
v.1.3.2 fixes a bug with Squareds TestMode Handling.
  • #32
The Player Character should be always recognized correctly with 1.3.1.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks for the addon!

I have an issue though, my own character's square will often be faded out even though no one else in my group/warband is faded (all are close by).

Reloading the ui fixes it but sooner or later it fades out again.

Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks!

I forgot to add that the squred range check is disabled and I have LibRange 1.31 and RangeFadingSquared 1.3

Any chance this happens only in a certain formation, like party, warband and/or scenario?
  • #25
That´s odd, since I have checks for that build in and haven´t seen that problem since some versions back.
    Will keep my eyes open.

For me it happens often when moved around in a wb/group. I haven't looked deep enough in the code so its only a guess that there may be no alpha change for the destination.

Since I unfortunately couldn´t reproduce this bug yet (those things keep hiding until they know they´re save!), I´ve created an alpha on a possibly-maybe basis. If you´d be so kind to test if it fixes the problem, you can find it either on curseforge (link in addon description) or by temporarily setting the addons release preference to alpha in the curse client.

OK, i installed it and will do some testing

I'm not sure if it's only in a certain formation, it seems to happen quite often and I am usually in a warband. Today I turned the addon off and used the built in range finding and my square wasn't faded. I'll turn it back on and see if it's formation dependent. Thanks :)

Just let me start by saying this is a great addon. The only thing I am having trouble with is when I go into scenarios this addon makes squared start flashing like a strobe light or a christmas tree lol Not sure if you know about this bug or not or if you need more information from me?
  • #22
However, in general we are on the same ground that Alpha Fading is one of the configurable features per Range Sphere, right? :D
  • #21
    I would need more information.
Please check that Squareds own Rangechecking is disabled (should be done automatically by the addon) and you´re using LibRange 1.3 together with RangeFadingSquared 1.3.
