About SpamBayes for Warhammer Online

SpamBayes for WoW is now Online!

A lightweight, transparent and innovating antispam for Warhammer Online

  • Hides and automatic reports of gold spammers [Automatic reports are not yet implemented]
  • Users are teachers free to learn it to hide anything else like the bastards spamming for guilds all day long
  • Based on a bayesian algorithm, unlike most pattern matching antispams, user won't need X plugin update to stop Z spam
  • Transparent, the control center returns all the received messages
  • The in-game ignore list is not used, for spambayes identity does not matter, only what is sent is important
  • Catch many forms of spams with just a few trainings, intelligent classications, rare false positives
  • Classify as ham / spam or unsure using a powerful algorithm to calculate probabilities in a range from 0 to 1
  • Supports trainings, users are able to teach SpamBayes on the fly
  • Uses a global database for all characters
  • Yet starts with a blank database as SpamBayes Python, but support for an "official" database is technically possible
  • Supports all "spammable" channels with a priority on being light in performance
  • Supports all languages and is patch 1.4.0 ready
  • Backup/Restore a database with the file \user\settings\GLOBAL\SpamBayes\SavedVariables.lua
  • OPTIONAL: a demonstration database to start using the plugin with 12 spams and 22 hams trained with over 3000 spams and 700 hams caught is download-able here (trained on English and French phrases, gold spams only)

Usages:
Type /spambayes or /sb to bring on the control center (a WarBoard button is available since revision 6)
