SquareClick

If you love Squared in Warhammer Online and is on the lazy side like me, you will also love this addon.

This addon adds click casting to Squared configurable with shift + alt + ctrl combinations for left mouse click (if Mythic opens for right click binding I will add this at a later stage).

To configure this addon with Squared, open the squared configuration and go to the settings tab called "Click!" where you can open your ability window and drag drop the spells/skills you wish to have on the misc click combinations within squared. After you done this you are ready to rumble! Just use left mouse button and click on the misc Squared buttons using shift+alt+ctrl combinations to see how it works.

This addon is a branch of the inactive SquaredHealBot which I cant get hold of the old maintainer, all credits to the original authors leading to this addon, if you come back just send me a pm and ill give you repository access ofcourse!

Current plans for the addon (pls give feedback and ideas):

  1. fix coexist problems with Pure addon done
  2. fix range bug so addon don't cast on wrong target when out of range (this is a game bug :( I can fix it but then when wb frames range bug you cant cast anymore)
  3. Write addon from scratch to get a license change to MIT or BSD with new targeting system and an library based so future addons from me and others can benefit from my struggles in here and at the same time get NerfedButton support added in.
  4. extend squared frames to give one button to have group spell bindings, add a few more buttons to extend with a friendly target history for remembering friendly targets targeted not in your warband.

Don't expect me to add dates to the roadmap, I am busy with kids, guild, girlfriend, work and life so I have to do this when I got time on my hands ;)

    I am sorry for not being able to deliver a new release, but as soon as Curse Packager runs a new version will be out with a few bugfixes and a version update.

    Until then you have to patient and just load old outdated and it should work together with the latest Squared

    Ouch, I am sorry I been off the grid for quite a bit of time, I will try get this thing up and running again as I finally cleared a bit of time and will be a dad soon. More home time I hope ;)

    Give me a bit of time though as its still a bit hairy at times over here and I need to get into the new stuff before I supply a fix.

    Panic it is conflicting with squared after the new patch. It needs to be updated. I couldn't target anyone by clicking on squared till I disabled squared click, but if you already have the person targeted and click their squared icon it will activate and put the hot on them. Seems to be a targeting issue when both are activated. Plz plz plz update this!! I cant live without it :(

    AFter 1.3.5 I Click on the CLick! bar in config menu but all I can see is disable squared click and clear target, this addon need to be updated or am I doing something wrong? Oo

    I figured out why it's not clearing on right click. In SquaredClick.xml you are calling "AbilityClear" from SquaredClick.lua but it's actually in SquaredClickConfig.lua.

    So if anyone doesn't want to wait for the next version, go to the XML file and change this line:

    Hi there,

    the addon doesn't work with my setup. I can open the 'Click!' tab from the settings menue of squared - but then I only have two check boxes ('disable squared click' and 'disable target'). There is now way of dropping any ability-icons somewhere. And if I close the 'Click!' tab in the settings menue I can not open it again...

    Hi there-

    I thought I would give your addon a try since I like Squared and, I too, am on the lazy side. Unfortunately though, I am unable to get the mob to work.

    When I open the Squared configuration, I am able to go the "Click" tab. I am dragging my spells from the skill menu to the boxes. But once everything is set up, and I hit "apply" nothing else seems to happen.

    I can alt-click on my squared box, and nothing happens. None of the other key combinations seem to work either. I am not sure what I might doing, so any insight would be helpful.

    You might want to check your addon list. This far it seem to battle with NBSquared for click registration within Squared. I am however going to merge the efforts since NerfedWar kindly asked me to do so, I just need some time to find a good way of making the configuration panel for it ;)

    At any rate, if you got NBSquared installed, try disable that addon, if not I would appreciate if you pm me your addon list so I can find the sinner and perhaps see what can be done around that ;)

    Sure, we can pull efforts in one project instead if youre interested?

    I been doing a lot of work seperating code to get smaller code files that is easy to change. We can have a chat in game tonight, I see you're on the same server as me anyhow ;) maby we can find a way to make a strong addon which makes everyone happy.
