About Warhammer Tracker Enhancement System

The Warhammer Tracker Enhancement System (WTes) addon provides workarounds for reported Warhammer UI bugs that are yet to be fixed by Mythic.

The initial release release provides 4 initial fixes (listed below). By default all of the workarounds are disabled and in order to enable them, type /wtes at the command line and select the workarounds you wish to enable.

List of Workarounds on offer:

  1. Siege Chat Channel Selector - This workaround enables you to select which chat channels are shown when you are using a siege weapon as opposed to the current setup where all chat channels are being displayed.
  2. Glyph Tracker Persistent Positioning - With this workaround enabled you will be able to move the Land of the Dead Glyph Tracker from it's default position in the top right hand corner (via the Layout Editor) and the changes will persist past log off.
  3. Morale Bar Miss Fire - On some occasions, when the morale ability is activated the morale doesn't actually fire but the cool down is displayed and you can no longer click on the ability but you can still use it via a bound key. This workaround prevents the cool down from appearing on a miss fire, enabling the Morale bar to function as it should.
  4. Backpack Crafting Icons - If you close the backpack on the crafting window and then exit the game, the next time you open the backpack window, the majority of the crafting icons are not selectable. This is no longer the case with this workaround enabled.
  5. Scenario Start Window - With this workaround enabled you can now alter the dimensions and location of the Scenario Start window via the Layout editor.

Version 1.1

  • Fixed an issue with the Backpack workaround that was stopping other mods from working.
  • Altered the way Morale false activation works.
  • Added the Scenario start window fix.

If you know of any other Mythic UI bugs that you would like fixes to, please provide details of the bug in the comments below.

Note: This addon has a dependency on the Libslash addon in order to run.

Altered Morale bar miss fire work around and added the ability to customise the Scenario Start windows location and size.

Are you able to provide a fix so the loot window remembers its position as well? This seems to reset every 5 minutes or so!

    Love the Addon Med :)
But i've got a problem with a couple of addons when the crafting backpack fix is enabled :(
If i disable the crafting bag fix and reloadui, they start working again.

nRarity: (maintained - found here http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/nrarity.aspx)
This stops working for certain of the bags (curreny, crafting and quest)

    BankArkel (non maintained - http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/bankarkel.aspx)
This loses the character selection list box.

Can't see any errors relating to any of the 3 addons when running the debug window and busted thou I'm afraid :(

I've looked into it and it appears that all three mods are overriding the backpack's OnShown function, only Wtes wasn't playing well with the other mods.
I've made some alterations to WTes so that it now takes into account other mods actions and the issue should be resolved next release.

Morale Bar Missfire? OMG lol downloading this right now, since that bug happens to me ALL the time.

Something to note is that this doesn't stop a morale miss fire and you still will see the countdown timer on a Morale miss fire but now you will be able to click the Morale button as if the countdown timer wasn't there.

One thing about your comment. On the comment above this one I'm making, you said that we'd be able to click on the morale button itself as if the countdown wasn't there, but the description says it'll only work if we have that morale bound to a key and use that key. Which one is it?
Because so far, I've had this missfire happen over 10 times in the past 24 hours, and I can NEVER click on my rank 1 morale when it happens. I tried several times, but it simply won't let me and I end up having to use my rank 2 instead since my rank 1 has a cooldown timer on it.

You don't need to have the morale ability bound to a key. I was using this as an example that when it miss fires, normally you can still use a key bind but you can't click on the ability because of the timer. This workaround let's u now click on the ability (when the timer is still counting down) instead of being forced to use the keybind (if you have one). But something to note here is that there is a difference between having a misfired countdown over a morale 1 abiity that is ready to be used and a countdown from a legitimate activation of a morale. If it's legitmate and even though the morale has recharged, if the cooldown timer is present, even this workaround won't help as the morale is legitimately in cooldown.

I did see your original posts on how the workaround isn't working and I did have to change the cod slightly before releasing, so I may have broken it. I will test this workaround tonight and keep you updated on where it's at.
