About Accomplishment

Accomplishment (noun)
"Something completed successfully; goal reached"

This is a small addon with one purpose: to provide an easy way to congratulate someone, be they a guildie or a random stranger, when they earn an Achievement.

Features:
- Auto-popup when an Achievement is unlocked by someone.
- Left-click the name to congratulate the person.
- Right-click the name to remove it from the list.
- Clicking "Close" hides the window and removes all names from the list.
- Window resizes whenever new names are added or removed. It starts off small and unobtrusive but gets bigger with each new name added.
- Window can be moved about and remembers it's position (saved in layout-cache.txt).
- Congratulatory message is customisable. Use '%s' where you want the user's name to appear (or not, if you wish).
- If you prefer, you can choose to congratulate automatically instead of clicking a button.

Options panel can be found in Interface -> AddOns -> Accomplishment.

To Do:
- Allow multiple congratulatory messages (well done!, awesome job!, grats! etc).
- Add timestamps to buttons, so you know who earned what when.
- Add sorting of names, so most recent achievers will appear at the top.

Please direct all feedback to the issues hub.

Tagging as v2.1.4.

--------------------

Ethan Centaurai:
    - Whitespace cleanup.
    - Delete some unused locals.
    - Use @project-version@ instead of manually changing the project version.
    - No longer uses AceAddon-3.0.
    - No longer uses AceTimer-3.0.
    - Use Ambiguate("none") on player names to strip out realm names.
    - Core: Bump Interface number to 60000. Apparently, people still use this thing...
    - Disable manual changelog.
    - Update gitignore.
    - Delete gitattributes.
    - Commit everything.

Still waiting for the release here. or even the beta here

cos there is no alpha on wowinterface either.

Also does it HAVE to say Grats to the player AND the realm  they are on?

Can we not get rid of the the realm thing.

I realy does make it look like an auto addon

I do not write LUA, but i d write PHP

Can you please make it that when it congrats someone cross realm that it only says their name?

I know in PHP i can get it call back everything up untill the hyphone"-".

Can you not do the same?

Even though we are clicking the button the congratz a guild mate, it REALLY loos stupid when is says "Gz John-Silvermoon"

Makes the addon look like an Auto Addon instead of an addon to advise ME the player, that some has got an achivement.

Also have at leaset a few options of the Gz, like Congrats, GZ, Gratz, Well done, etc,

Only needs us to enter 5 variations.

If i wrote LUA, i would gladley do it

Haven't been updated since 2009. Works badly with xrealm.

Since people still use this thing, I've picked this project back up and brought it back up to date.

The alpha packages on WoWace will work with the Warlords of Draenor beta, and a full-blown release will be available here once Patch 6.0 goes live.

It will report to /g chat if a guildie earns an achievement.
It will report to /say if a player you are near to, but isn't a guildie, earns an achievement.

You can make the addon send a /whisper if you prefer.
There are currently no plans to change the default channel.

Does this report in ./gchat, and if so Is there a way to change the channel it reports to as a default?
