About Accountant Classic

Summary

Accountant is a basic tool to track your monetary incomings and outgoings within WoW. It logs per-session and running totals of how much money you have spent and earned from vendors / loot / quests etc...

Cross-server is supported. You can have the same player name in different realms. The money information will be saved for each realm.

Notes

This Accountant Classic is base on the original version written by Sabaki and modified by Shadow and Rophy.

Shadow and Rophy used to updated the Accountant to version 2.3.

However, it seems Sabaki, Shadow, and Rophy stoped maintaining the codes. So here I am. Some codes revised to make Accountant alive. Though I may not have time to implement more features. You are always welcome to contribute your implementation.

Usage

Either click the minimap button, bind a key to accountant or use /acc to view your accountant log

    I just downloaded and unzipped, it seems you had 2 copyies of LibDataBroker-1.1, basically one overwriting the other, i kept both, but which one is suppose to be the correct one?

    should be a packaging problem, overwritting it should be fine.

    anyway, I will check the packaging mwthod and get it fixed.

    i love the addon, bin using it for a very long time now. i have one request, can you add a yesterday tab to allow for side by side comparison.

    For whatever reason, my Accountant won't actually show me how much gold I've gained this session. I'm not sure if I'm missing a dependency, or if I just need to reinstall it or what. Love the addon, though, so I'm not about to stop using it.

    No, Accountant do not have any dependency. Not sure what's going wrong at your end. If you have some more clue, please let me know.

    A couple weeks ago I was thinking, there should be an accountant addon that tracks where your money goes. I was pleased to see it did already exist, but Account Classic's data details drops off after a week and the numbers lost in the Total, where I wish it was still accessible. How hard would it be to be able to drill down into past months/weeks/days totals? Being that I see no other currently updated accountant addons, this would seem to be the one that could updated.
    In my thinking of what the accountant addon should have before I even looked for it, I was hoping to see something with graphs similar to how recount tracks damage and healing, but then again, I am now programmer so this is just ideas from a users view point. Just adding in other history would make me super happy.

    I love this addon! Thanks so much! I have one request if it's at all possible. Could there be an option to display a small window showing how much money I have earned (net) in a session. I used to use Money Wiz but that's broken and not been updated for two years - could you integrate something like that in your addon?

    Is it possible to also have de DataBroker part of the old accountant ?
    The minimap button doesn't fit into my UI ^^

    Sorry I just realize the v2.5.06 has a critical problem in Korean translation file. The "end" for the "if" statement is missing.
    A new release will be made later today.
