About Addon Control Panel
Stop logging out of the game just to change your addons!
ACP adds the "Addons" button to the game's main menu (The one you get when you hit ESC). It allows you to manage your addons in game, with an interface which looks similar to the blizzard addon manager. ACP will help you deal with the "Clutter" that multi-part addons and libraries introduce by displaying your addons in logical arrangements. ACP has many features to make your addon list easy to manage, help you with missing libraries, and provide you with detailed information about each addon.
Slash Commands:
/acp - show and hide the ACP window
/acp addset <set #> - enable an addon set
/acp removeset <set #> - disable an addon set
/acp disableall - disable all addons (except protected and ACP)
/acp default - restore the enabled addons to what was enabled last time the UI was loaded
Icon meaning:
Star: Protected addon - this addon will not be disabled when you choose disable all, also if it is not enabled when you log into the game, it will be re-enabled and you will be prompted to reload the ui.
Dk Grey Open Lock: Addon does not supply compatibility information
Lt Grey Closed Lock: Addon has provided compatibility information
Addon compatibility helps you determine if the addon supports the current version of the game that you are running. You will see further information in the tooltip for the addon, and incompatible/out of date addons will be labeled in the main addon list.
Credits:
ACP is based on the work of 2 other projects rMCP, which is a version of MCP modified by Rophy, and MCP originally by Saien.

Comments
why the FUCK does this delete many addon settings when i change sets / disable all?
This should be deleted from curse, cba
I see no reason to use this addon with all these complaints and I do not see the owner putting down any comments. Why is this in the spotlight?
ACP is doing some really funky things. For instance, it's changing Addon setup from my shaman (when I do it in game as opposed to on the character screen) and applying those changes across all of my characters (never had this problem before). And, of course, there's the problems the folks below me are describing.
I have tracked down at least the error *I* have been getting about protected frames not being able to be created at ACP.lua:609:
this:RegisterForDrag("LeftButton");
I don't know why exactly. Commenting out this line will disable moving of the main ACP frame. Seems to work the same otherwise.
Also at line 1203, replace
UIDropDownMenu_SetSelectedValue(button, builder)
with
button.selectedValue = builder;
This should not alter any functionality, just avoid executing some [apparently tainting] code.
Edit: Got the error again on logging in during a raid encounter. Gonna see if I can find the cause for that...
The APC is working Properly, but is is tainting the Anchors for the Default raid frames. It makes any other frames not proplerly recognize the anchors for the raid frames and puts the tabs 'behind' the raid panel. The Other tabs are Loot, Social, Guild, Dungeon Journal ETC.
ACP's working fine but I occasionally get a few error messages caught by BugSack. Here's one I got recently:
3x [ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn "ACP" tried to call the protected function "CompactRaidFrame37:Show()". !BugGrabber-r191-release\BugGrabber.lua:587: in function <!BugGrabber\BugGrabber.lua:587> <in C code> FrameXML\CompactUnitFrame.lua:279: in function "CompactUnitFrame_UpdateVisible" FrameXML\CompactUnitFrame.lua:237: in function "CompactUnitFrame_UpdateAll" FrameXML\CompactUnitFrame.lua:47: in function <FrameXML\CompactUnitFrame.lua:44>
Locals: nil
I also got the same errors as Kenmoe and jgommel. and about 46 more errors all refering to CompactRaidGroup
2x [ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn "ACP" tried to call the protected function "CompactRaidGroup5Member2:Show()".
And this is in raid only.
Like Kenmoe, I too get the same series of errors, but I get it often.
5,2? will it work?
did you try?
let us know and tell us why?
give you a hint: Wow update to 5.2 and most add ons not working and most programmers have to update there addons scripts to make it work with the latest update of wow.
When will it be fix? when they find the time to do it. Will it ever be updated? god knows! till then we wait for an update or someone else to make a new one.
There's references to AceDBOptions-3.0 and ElvUI in that error output but nothing pointing directly to ACP. Keep in mind that any errors effecting libraries will point to the first addon to load those libraries regardless of the addon actually causing the fault.
Today an ELVUI addon (ElvUI_SystemDT) was updated and ACP is working properly for me already. So Lufunpsy you're right.
@Siarczek: Its working on patch 5.2 :)
Not for me! It was affecting my other addons and causing lua errors

Guys, not sure it makes sense that ACP is to blame for this stuff. ACP just sits there quietly until you want to use it to switch something.
I got errors that were blamed on ACP all night during raid Friday/Saturday, and I never even tried to use ACP.
Yea this addon is having some major issues, has been for some time with taints, but now its just plain out of control, and it causes all sorts of problems when trying to do things. Have to reload UI all the time just to rigth click a player frame because of it, love the mod but its been shelved for me atm due to this glaring issue.
