About Addon Control Panel

Stop logging out of the game just to change your addons!

ACP adds the "Addons" button to the game's main menu (The one you get when you hit ESC). It allows you to manage your addons in game, with an interface which looks similar to the blizzard addon manager. ACP will help you deal with the "Clutter" that multi-part addons and libraries introduce by displaying your addons in logical arrangements. ACP has many features to make your addon list easy to manage, help you with missing libraries, and provide you with detailed information about each addon.

Slash Commands:

/acp - show and hide the ACP window

/acp addset <set #> - enable an addon set

/acp removeset <set #> - disable an addon set

/acp disableall - disable all addons (except protected and ACP)

/acp default - restore the enabled addons to what was enabled last time the UI was loaded

Icon meaning:

Star: Protected addon - this addon will not be disabled when you choose disable all, also if it is not enabled when you log into the game, it will be re-enabled and you will be prompted to reload the ui.

Dk Grey Open Lock: Addon does not supply compatibility information

Lt Grey Closed Lock: Addon has provided compatibility information

Addon compatibility helps you determine if the addon supports the current version of the game that you are running. You will see further information in the tooltip for the addon, and incompatible/out of date addons will be labeled in the main addon list.

ACP is based on the work of 2 other projects rMCP, which is a version of MCP modified by Rophy, and MCP originally by Saien.

    Unchecked libraries are loading

    Using version 3.4.9:
I have an empty group, with no addons besides ACP. Swatter, Slidebar, and Stubby don't load.
I loaded my normal group of addons, which included those three, and reloaded.

Brought up ACP, unchecked those three, and reloaded. Those libraries do not load. I now go to an empty ACP save entry (#15 this time), click save, click Yes to save. "ACP: Addons [Set 15] Saved." Those three libraries in slot 15 are not checked.

Click reload. Everything is as expected, those three libraries are not checked.

Got to set 15, click load, and now those three libraries are checked and they load if I reload. They shouldn't and it doesn't make sense that they get added back to my loading.

I downloaded version 3.4.8, repeated the steps, and those libraries did not start loading.

  • #1005

I'm using the 3.4.8 version, at least it work just fine. hope it get fixed as even if 6.0 bring add-on loading without logging off it doesn't offer custom profiles

I tried an hard reinstall still nothing, I don't get lua errors: it bugs somehow with tukui so every set  as it included even if i disable it and save when i load a set tukui is always there wth?? so i'm downgrading again

  • #998

The latest version of this is completely unusable for me. The second I log in i get an error message then i try to open the control panel and everything is smooshed together and unreadable and then 5 more error messages pop up. I had to remove the file altogether. Tried a re-download and it did the same. This is frustrating, I use this addon constantly and now i am without it until something changes.

    last update issue

anyone having problem with last update? it doesnt save the profiles I had to downgrade it

  • #1001

    I'm having this problem.

just to be clear, i was wondering if i understand this right. i sometimes will accidentally "load" a set instead of adding to the current addons loaded - i can correct this mistake by going to SETS and loading "default"?

so "default" will be whatever was loaded last for any character - so essentially it will remember each separate character's last addon setup?

i wasn't entirely sure, as i thought i noticed a few not loading the were originally loaded, but i could be wrong. i started making sets for each character just in case i made that simple mistake and lost the addons setup for each character. thank you for any assistance! :)

after messing around a lot with the addon's setting "default," i can clearly tell "default" does not load all the previous addons loaded - there were multiple incorrect: some on, some off. but perhaps default is not supposed to perform this function. i find that it is just so easy to misclick and mess up my addon settings. -- see suggestion on main site. thanks.

Please help. Having a lot of trouble with this addon at the moment. It keeps popping up with a box saying "ACP: Some protected addons are not loaded - reload now?" at random times, and when I log in to certain toons. Also keeps enabling one of my addons at random times, and when I log over to a toon that had it disabled the last time I played. Have even noticed it happening when I've been afk for a few mins. I'll come back and the addon (SGI) will mysteriously be turned back on. Had to turn it off at least 10 times yesterday, and it's now at the point where I've moved SGI out of my WoW folders so this can't happen. I do know SGI was recently updated and the coding was apparently re-written, so perhaps there is a conflict somewhere in there. Anything to help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a simple post to say I love and adore this addon!  Makes it so easy to disable something instead of logging all the way out and then back in again.

    Awesome addon!  <3

Will this addon be maintained or abandoned once its function has been integrated into WoW in Patch 6.0? From what I've seen so far in the Warlords of Draenor "alpha", I would still prefer this over Blizzard's version.
