About Addon Control Panel

Stop logging out of the game just to change your addons!

ACP adds the "Addons" button to the game's main menu (The one you get when you hit ESC). It allows you to manage your addons in game, with an interface which looks similar to the blizzard addon manager. ACP will help you deal with the "Clutter" that multi-part addons and libraries introduce by displaying your addons in logical arrangements. ACP has many features to make your addon list easy to manage, help you with missing libraries, and provide you with detailed information about each addon.

Slash Commands:

/acp - show and hide the ACP window

/acp addset <set #> - enable an addon set

/acp removeset <set #> - disable an addon set

/acp disableall - disable all addons (except protected and ACP)

/acp default - restore the enabled addons to what was enabled last time the UI was loaded

Icon meaning:

Star: Protected addon - this addon will not be disabled when you choose disable all, also if it is not enabled when you log into the game, it will be re-enabled and you will be prompted to reload the ui.

Dk Grey Open Lock: Addon does not supply compatibility information

Lt Grey Closed Lock: Addon has provided compatibility information

Addon compatibility helps you determine if the addon supports the current version of the game that you are running. You will see further information in the tooltip for the addon, and incompatible/out of date addons will be labeled in the main addon list.

Credits:

ACP is based on the work of 2 other projects rMCP, which is a version of MCP modified by Rophy, and MCP originally by Saien.

ok, what in the world is the recursive box for? don't see anything anywhere explaining its function and what does the ACP protect do when i click to make the icon a star instead of an open lock?

I have a problem with saving a defined addon list to not include healbot. When I load this saved list, it will still include healbot.
  • #131
is this shiny addon now safe to download, just saw the do not download fishing link comment and not sure if its the download link thats corrupted or just a comment a guy made?
a comment would be nice, safe or not

Most of the DBM modules are not being sorted properly under DBM
  • #122
An immensely useful feature would be the ability to auto-load preset addon configs depending on where you are. For example I prefer to disable a large number of addons when I'm in an instance/raid. If ACP could recognize when you are entering an instance and automatically load the appropriate addon set, that would be amazing.

I'll add this in curseforge for good measure, in case the author prefers to use that.

Request for possibly helpful features to include in future updates:

(Label) Displaying current addon set name:
    - A reminder of what set one is working on. Perhaps to the left of the sorting dropdown box?

(Tooltip) Explaining the purpose of the "Recursive" checkbox:
    - So, ...what exactly will it recursively go through? I don't have the guts to tick it... Hovering over that checkbox has no feedback, yet.

I warned the forum Mods about that guy with the fishing link mod the first day. I don't see his comments anymore. Looks like the banned him
  • #107
i reported him. thank god that kaspersky internet security is made of win and caught it. :D
  • #147
I don't run antivirus, and I have windows firewall disabled, and I have not gotten a virus in over 3 years. Thank god I didn't clink the
    obviously-a-key-logger link
  • #102
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE AUTOFISHING MOD linked below my post. my kaspersky internet security flagged it as having a Trojan. just thought id let people know. plus a auto fishing mod,as far as i know, is considered a bot and a bannable offense.

hmm well above my post. but you get my meaning :p

within the last two weeks, so before the patch and after your most recent update, I've had an issue. Everytime I change and reload my addons using ACP my UI will go wonky. Everything gets larger and out of sync. I would have to hard close wow (because when I hit esc the menu doesn't come up) and relog back in. Then once I've logged in, my ui is back to normal and despite the hard close of wow, acp has remembered which addons I've just selected to reactivate or disable. Any thoughts on what's going on or how to fix it?

    Ditto.

In addition, it seems that ACP is not catching when somebody tries to rename to a built in name like "Default"
  • #85
Great addon. Keep it that way :)
