About Addon Control Panel

Stop logging out of the game just to change your addons!

ACP adds the "Addons" button to the game's main menu (The one you get when you hit ESC). It allows you to manage your addons in game, with an interface which looks similar to the blizzard addon manager. ACP will help you deal with the "Clutter" that multi-part addons and libraries introduce by displaying your addons in logical arrangements. ACP has many features to make your addon list easy to manage, help you with missing libraries, and provide you with detailed information about each addon.

Slash Commands:

/acp - show and hide the ACP window

/acp addset <set #> - enable an addon set

/acp removeset <set #> - disable an addon set

/acp disableall - disable all addons (except protected and ACP)

/acp default - restore the enabled addons to what was enabled last time the UI was loaded

Icon meaning:

Star: Protected addon - this addon will not be disabled when you choose disable all, also if it is not enabled when you log into the game, it will be re-enabled and you will be prompted to reload the ui.

Dk Grey Open Lock: Addon does not supply compatibility information

Lt Grey Closed Lock: Addon has provided compatibility information

Addon compatibility helps you determine if the addon supports the current version of the game that you are running. You will see further information in the tooltip for the addon, and incompatible/out of date addons will be labeled in the main addon list.

ACP is based on the work of 2 other projects rMCP, which is a version of MCP modified by Rophy, and MCP originally by Saien.

Can you macro loading sets and reloading ui?

    Great addon, btw.
  • #677
superb mod, saves a lot of logging in and out.

This is an amazing addon-- why did it take me years to discover it? It's so awesome to be able to change addons without logging in and out! Thank you so much!

Since updating today, everything after Addons in the Menu has vanished, including the Logout button and the Exit button.
  • #661
Please post if the problem is fixed in the lastest release
  • #663
It is still happening with the latest version.

The problem seems to be related to a similar addon I use: TooManyAddons. It doesn't add a button to the menu though. It's accessed by using /tma.

I'm sorry. It *does* add an "Addon" button. I just never noticed it before.
  • #658
Do you have another addon that adds a button to the menu?
  • #647
Heyyyy, I love this addon, been using it since shortly after it came out, thanks so much.

The latest version (r50) conflicts with the also-super-useful "qUserKey" addon which allows direct keybinds for spells and items. qUserKey also adds a button to the Game Menu, using the simplest UserKey_AddGameMenuButton() method. Your new version moves things around to separate your button from Logout, but doesn't (maybe can't) anticipate that anyone else might have added a button. The result is that qUserKey and ACP's buttons occupy the same space.

Maybe there is another way to achieve the separation? or maybe you could make Game Menu buttoning optional in the config UI, and let people who are Logout-prone just type /acp instead.

Again, thanks for a great addon.

qUserKey btw needs to be updated for 4.0 or its going to stop working very soon.

That said. The latest build (r60) contains some compatiblity code which should fix the issue.

Your latest version works perfectly for me! Thanks!
  • #659
I'll see what i can do about it. I can at least let you disable the button.
  • #646
I never write comments, this is actually my first one. I just have to say: Sir/Mam. You're a genius.

The latest alpha versions of ACP have special functionality for Cataclysm beta. If you are currently in the beta, you should run the alpha versions until the next release of ACP (which should be soon)
