About Addon Control Panel

Stop logging out of the game just to change your addons!

ACP adds the "Addons" button to the game's main menu (The one you get when you hit ESC). It allows you to manage your addons in game, with an interface which looks similar to the blizzard addon manager. ACP will help you deal with the "Clutter" that multi-part addons and libraries introduce by displaying your addons in logical arrangements. ACP has many features to make your addon list easy to manage, help you with missing libraries, and provide you with detailed information about each addon.

Slash Commands:

/acp - show and hide the ACP window

/acp addset <set #> - enable an addon set

/acp removeset <set #> - disable an addon set

/acp disableall - disable all addons (except protected and ACP)

/acp default - restore the enabled addons to what was enabled last time the UI was loaded

Icon meaning:

Star: Protected addon - this addon will not be disabled when you choose disable all, also if it is not enabled when you log into the game, it will be re-enabled and you will be prompted to reload the ui.

Dk Grey Open Lock: Addon does not supply compatibility information

Lt Grey Closed Lock: Addon has provided compatibility information

Addon compatibility helps you determine if the addon supports the current version of the game that you are running. You will see further information in the tooltip for the addon, and incompatible/out of date addons will be labeled in the main addon list.

Credits:

ACP is based on the work of 2 other projects rMCP, which is a version of MCP modified by Rophy, and MCP originally by Saien.

    Hi,

    Very nice the grouping of DBM & Auctionner

    But still have the anoying Slidebar bug (Works fine with 3.2.0)
    I can't Slide the list without having a Delay / Lag...

    Thanks

    Top mod. I find ACP pretty much indispensable :)

    It would be really useful if ACP had the option to add even more profiles. I know theres 10 + extra class specific ones, but it'd be handy if it was possible to have more.

    It would also be useful if the profiles could be add/subtracted from existing configs.

    An "Attempt to Load" button would be useful: Many authors shy away from setting up LOD in their mod TOCs, even though in many cases there is absolutely no reason not to do so. Many such mods work fine if you use LoadAddon() on them. You could put a warning tooltip on the button to let players know that they use the button at their own risk.

    I see some of the other comments are wondering the same thing I am, as to if you could make it group certain addons together. But since I have so many addons that listing them for you to do it is pointless. Instead I was wondering if you could add some way of allowing users to customize their addon groupings.

    I love this Addon and have found it essential to my WoW experience. However, something has changed recently that makes this Addon annoying to use. It used to save settings between characters if I changed the settings while logged into the character. It not longer does this. What is does now is get us to choose a character at log in and then set the Addons per character up from there. This is fine, except for I cannot get them to save properly. Do I have to set them up for one specific toon, then log in and out with that toon to save those settings? Simply switching to the toon in the option at log in and setting the settings and hitting "okay" doesn't save the settings. Any suggestions?

    Hi
    There is a very anoying bug with the 3.2.1 :
    The Silde Bar is slower down

    Works fine with the 3.2.0

  • #219
    Could you Group addons :
    Deadly Boss Mods Core {
    ***
    DBM-***
    }
    GRID {
    GRID***
    }
    Auc-Auctioneer (core) {
    Auc:***
    }

    Thanks in advance
  • #201
    Can you group Auctioneer Suite together?
  • #208
    It is up to the authors of the original addon on how it will collapse so the ACP author can't fix that, however, there was a post somewhere that i read that the auctioneer authors are working to make it collapsible in ACP. not sure when to expect that functionality, but it is in the works.

    Did you even look at post immediately before yours before wasting space with this? Its the exact same error.

    How to avoid the error: do not press the "Yes" button after renaming. Simply press the ENTER key on your keyboard instead. That's it. Sets will rename without errors doing that.

    Error when i try to rename a sets:

    [2009/09/17 16:57:56-680-x1]: ACP-3.2.0.20 \ACP.lua:443: attempt to index a nil value

    I found it works by press "Enter" on keyboard to rename a sets, but dont press "OK" by mouse. It then get the above error.
  • #159
    Ok this might be a stupid question, but from a UI perspective, it's downright confusing... but HOW DO YOU LOCK an addon? I see two icons.. an "Open" padlock, and a Star... both have the same tooltip ("Click to ENABLE protect mode" etc..)

    I THINK the star means locked, and open padlock is unlocked, but I'm just not sure. (Why not use a closed padlock btw??)
