About Addon Control Panel

Stop logging out of the game just to change your addons!

ACP adds the "Addons" button to the game's main menu (The one you get when you hit ESC). It allows you to manage your addons in game, with an interface which looks similar to the blizzard addon manager. ACP will help you deal with the "Clutter" that multi-part addons and libraries introduce by displaying your addons in logical arrangements. ACP has many features to make your addon list easy to manage, help you with missing libraries, and provide you with detailed information about each addon.

Slash Commands:

/acp - show and hide the ACP window

/acp addset <set #> - enable an addon set

/acp removeset <set #> - disable an addon set

/acp disableall - disable all addons (except protected and ACP)

/acp default - restore the enabled addons to what was enabled last time the UI was loaded

Icon meaning:

Star: Protected addon - this addon will not be disabled when you choose disable all, also if it is not enabled when you log into the game, it will be re-enabled and you will be prompted to reload the ui.

Dk Grey Open Lock: Addon does not supply compatibility information

Lt Grey Closed Lock: Addon has provided compatibility information

Addon compatibility helps you determine if the addon supports the current version of the game that you are running. You will see further information in the tooltip for the addon, and incompatible/out of date addons will be labeled in the main addon list.

ACP is based on the work of 2 other projects rMCP, which is a version of MCP modified by Rophy, and MCP originally by Saien.

u dont need questhelper any more genious cause as of today there is already a built in quest helper so stop qqing and delete quest helper.
  • #282
That's "Genius." Stay in school, a mind is a terrible thing.
  • #284
    To waste
  • #272
Definitely need something that shows the current Profile you have loaded.
  • #276
Couldn't agree more with this... I truly love this addon, it's become such an important part of my game that I realized that profiles are needed. In fact, it would be great to be able to create custom profiles so we can load them on demand... Sometimes I want to turn all of my addons off to test something. It would be nice to save a custom profile with ACP so I can quickly reload what i was working on. Thx for a great addon!
  • #283
You haven't found the 10 custom profile slots? Look harder. Requital is asking for an indicator to show which of the 10 profiles you have loaded.

For some reason ACP has been causin me to not be able to log in on my main... its wierd cuz i can on any of my alts but my 80 main will keep gettin disconnected every time i try to log on... i even turned off all mods but ACP and it still happens, but when i turn off only ACP it works fine... I have no idea whats goin on and i love ACP so i dont wanna get rid of it... I love havin a mod thatll save my mod lists per character so i dont have to write down the countless mods i have and which ones are on and off for which characters :P

I love this addon, my guildies are amazed at how quickly I can change specs. Many have begun using this.

Would it be possible to place the name of the addon set at the top of the window so I can tell at a glance what set is currently loaded?
  • #256
One thing that would be helpful is to see what sets each addon is enabled in. Possibly a new column in the main panel?
  • #254
Is there a way to make mods not showing up in the list, well, show up?
  • #258
i had this same problem, but i figured a way around this. when looking at the addon control panel page, at the top is a drop down menu on how to list the addons, there are about 5 or 6 options. try each till you see the addon. on the default list i couldn't see xloot or WIM, but once i changed the listing they showed up. hope this helps.

Very nice the grouping of DBM & Auctionner

But still have the anoying Slidebar bug (Works fine with 3.2.0)
I can't Slide the list without having a Delay / Lag...

Top mod. I find ACP pretty much indispensable :)

It would be really useful if ACP had the option to add even more profiles. I know theres 10 + extra class specific ones, but it'd be handy if it was possible to have more.

It would also be useful if the profiles could be add/subtracted from existing configs.

An "Attempt to Load" button would be useful: Many authors shy away from setting up LOD in their mod TOCs, even though in many cases there is absolutely no reason not to do so. Many such mods work fine if you use LoadAddon() on them. You could put a warning tooltip on the button to let players know that they use the button at their own risk.

I see some of the other comments are wondering the same thing I am, as to if you could make it group certain addons together. But since I have so many addons that listing them for you to do it is pointless. Instead I was wondering if you could add some way of allowing users to customize their addon groupings.

I love this Addon and have found it essential to my WoW experience. However, something has changed recently that makes this Addon annoying to use. It used to save settings between characters if I changed the settings while logged into the character. It not longer does this. What is does now is get us to choose a character at log in and then set the Addons per character up from there. This is fine, except for I cannot get them to save properly. Do I have to set them up for one specific toon, then log in and out with that toon to save those settings? Simply switching to the toon in the option at log in and setting the settings and hitting "okay" doesn't save the settings. Any suggestions?
