About Addon Chat-Message-Hider

Addon Chat-Message-Hider is a simple add on to hide any messages that come from add ons or moves them to another Chat Frame. Options can be found in Blizzard's AddOn Interface-Options.

Version 1.10 You can now choose between two methods of detecting. Fixed a lot of bugs.

Version 1.01 Works now with Prat. Better design. Small fix.

    Using this addon and Prat don't get along.

    For some reason, when I have Addon chat-message-hider enabled, everything goes into my Trash tab (using Prat), including guild chat/guild achievements. The only thing that doesn't go into my trash bin is localized achievements that other people get around me. However, when I have this addon disabled, guild chat/guild achievements go into the General tab which is where I want them/assigned them to go. Any clue what's going on?

    Apparently, using Chatter will "correct" this problem. I don't see why Prat is buggy but Chatter isn't.

    Having a LOT of trouble with this addon. Every time I change something in the config, close the config and come back, the changes I made don't show, yet the actual changes are saved, because I see the effects in game. This, however, makes it incredibly difficult to undo any changes I don't actually want, as they're already "undone" in the config. This has led to all sort of problems, such as having my trade channel spammed with the guild message of the day ever half a second nonstop, to having all text completely blocked, to having everything BUT addon spam blocked.

    The idea behind this addon is amazing, and I would love to keep using it, but its config window is a nightmare and even when I add custom bad words, it let's some lines with those words through (though not as many as before...)

    This doesn't hide the MageNuggets login spam (even with a filter added), and does not hide the Blizz login spam. =/

    you can add custom "words".
    was this word in a line then the whole line disappears

    Upon trying to configure this addon I am having the following error brought up.

    All addon messages certainly at logon are being filtered irrespective of the setting I choose, despite any good words I add.
    Also after reloading the UI, any words added to a list will not appear until I try to add another.

    Seems to have resolved itself suddenly, but does seem hide the official blizzard message once you log on.

    Getting the same error myself.
    The filters fail to operate with messages containing the "bad" words still appearing.
    Also the buttons showing the entries for good and bad words disappear after the reload.
    Yes it is hiding the blizzard message, for it was visibile prior to using the addon and not visible when it is enabled.
