About Advanced Trade Skill Window
ATSW is a complete replacement for Blizzards tradeskill window with more overview and special functions.
This replacement (works for all tradeskills, now even enchanting!) provides you with:
- a better overview
The ATSW is bigger than the standard window, resulting in a much better overview over the thousands of items you can produce. Additionally, it lets you sort your recipes either by groups (as in the standard window), alphabetically or by difficulty. Alternatively, ATSW even lets you create your own groups and sort the recipes the way you like!
ATSW also has a filter function: enter something into the filter line and ATSW hides all recipes that don't contain the text you entered. But this filter function can do more: it's a powerful search function that can filter for minimum/maximum level requirements, producable item counts, item rarity (color) and reagents necessary. Check out the readme for details on using this function!

The ATSW has a production queue: you can queue several different items and have them all produced automatically by just clicking one button.
The ATSW is able to consider items you have to produce in order to use them as reagents in the production of other items. So: if you need item A to produce item B, you don't have to manually produce first item A, then item B. The ATSW does that for you: you just tell it to produce item B and it automatically queues the production of item A and - afterwards - item B. If you are missing some reagents to produce both items you get a message telling you exactly which reagents you need.
ATSW helps you telling your friends what reagents you need for a specific item: just click on a recipe with your shift-key pressed and the chat line opened and the reagent info will be added to the chat line.
ATSW shows you what reagents you need to process the whole production queue. It even tells you how many of each reagent you have in your bank, on alternative characters on the same server (in this case, it can even tell you on which characters) and which reagents are buyable from merchants. In case of buyable reagents ATSW can automatically buy all missing and available items from a merchant when you are speaking to him.
Please note that ATSW has grown to be quite a complex addon and it might still contain some bugs. Please tell me if you encounter one so I can fix them.

Since yesterday's patch, it is doing that thing again, where if you click on "buy reagents from this seller" and you need multiple things, it only buys one item (even if it normally comes as a stack).
Locks up wow unless I load the standard tradeskill GUI first. This always happens if I visit a trade vendor, then immediately launch this addon. Which, sad to say is quite often.
Seeing how 0.8.3 -> 0.8.6 only updated TOC version, I've decided to update my speed-up patch too and do some more work on it. Optimized away tons of unnecessary recalculations, both in ATSW internals and calls to Blizzard API. For example, ATSW opens up almost instantly even on first login now. Because number of API requests has been dramatically cut down this may also fix hangups on first open mentioned in comments. Tell me if anybody still hangs with this version.

I too, am having the issue with ATSW causing the WoW client to completely stop responding. For me it only happens when I attempt to open blacksmithing. All other professions work fine. Attempts to access blacksmithing result in a complete lockup of the WoW client after the ATSW window completes rendering. This occurs probably 7 of 10 tries. I finally had to stop using this add-on, which really sucks, because it is such a huge improvement over the native interface.
Everyonce in awhile when i open my trade window my UI freezes and I cannot even alt + tab to my desk top. I have to Ctrl + Alt + Delete and use taskmanager to manually shut down WoW and then restart the game, and then everything works fine.

did you ever notice that the Blizzard functionality is (almost) as performing as ATSW with a big advantage over this addon : it never bugs!
yeah, for me all atsw needs is a filter by mats (like blizz UI) and this annoying hang on startup to go away. i havent encountered any other bugs personally, if those 2 things got fixed it would be a 10/10 add on, atm 8/10
quick question... when i login for the first time in a while, then open a tradeskill window, my game hangs, and the hangtime varies depending on the volume of the skillsets, is this normal? love the add on btw, just that one thing im curious about a possible fix for or if its just something the add on has to do.
Lots of bug posts... I just wanted to say, I have used this addon for a year, and never had an issue with it, and Im a scribe... So... not all inscription is bugged... I also have a chanter, engineer, alchemist, and LW... ll good in the hood.

i have discovered that not only INSCRIPTION slow, it really is NOT WORKING as the rest of the professions - at least the ones that i have.
atsw doesn't take into account the items/materials that are in your bank. by moving all mats to my inventory, i was able to skill up an incredible amount. i was just letting it do the thinking, when i should've been wondering why all of these inks in my bank were not helping me level up.
TLDR: turn off atsw when using inscription!
i really hope atsw can be updated or rewritten, whatever needs to be done to get it up to speed. i would be eternally grateful. thanks! :D

When I open ATSW with engineering, I am getting the message in the chat window "Invalid slot reference to character slot - did not find a reference for INVTYPE_RANGEDRIGHT". Not sure if it's from ATSW or something else, I also have Ackis Recipe List and get an error when opening that with engineering.
Can this (quite good actually) addon be made to show how many skillup points will I get from orange colored inscription recipes?
why is the addon so buggy? i cant shitf click items in my inventory to seach them, the window never dispalys the right thing im about to make and the que system never works. every time uve updated i hoped this would be fixed but never is.
