About AFK Fix
"Stay AFK!"
Some addons have the annoying problem of clearing your AFK flag whenever they communicate with other users by sending messages over hidden channels if you have "Auto Clear AFK" enabled in your Interface Options. AFK Fix unobtrusively prevents this problem. No configuration is needed: Just drop the AFKFix folder into your Interface\Addons folder.
AFK Fix is enabled by default. Type /afkfix to toggle.
v2.0
- Improved efficiency.
v1.0

No longer works as of 4.3
Neither do I . . .
This addon isn't for everyone. Perhaps you don't have any addons that use hidden channels for communication, or perhaps you don't care whether you are flagged as AFK when you are actually AFK (or in another window, or whatnot). For me, there are times that I want to be marked as AFK (whether I type /afk or I just happen to be gone long enough to automatically be marked that way). This lets people know I'm not immediately available - giving a notice when they whisper you and listing you as such in various places like the guild roster. It became annoying, then, that I was unable to use the "Auto Clear AFK" option provided by Blizzard because if I did, an addon would prematurely clear my AFK flag by sending out messages over a hidden channel.
I made AFK Fix for my own use and partially as a programming exercise since other addons I've written/will write might make use of much of the code developed here. At one point, I wasn't planning on uploading it, but I figure, some people might benefit from it, so why not?
i didnt get the idea....
