Customizable unit frame addon.

  • How to configure the unit frames in 3.0

Press "esc" to open the options menu.

Press the "Interface" button.

In the interface options window, press the "AddOns" tab.

Select "AG Units" from the tree of available addons.

Press the "Open AG Units Options" button. This will open the AG Unit Frames options window.

(Alternatively, you can write "/aguf" in the chat.)

Hi guys,

I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.

I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.

That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.

Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.

  • Issues

There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

    Is there anyway to hide the Runes when you play as a Death Knight? I've been going over the options several time and I'm either blind/stupid or it isn't there. :)

    My favorite addon, and i can't use it. Keeps popping up error messages, I just can't play like that. Latest version installed and keeps on spamming error messages.

    Thanks for fixing the setup mode.

    The only issue I have right now is in the raid configuration area. The groups tab has nothing anymore other than a "new group" button.. which does nothing. I want to be able to change the number of groups shown like before.

    Just started using this and I like it - thanks.

    But I can't right click my buffs to remove them - useful for levitate etc - in fact any buff you want to finish early.

    I'm using another addon to hide blizzard buffs - and if i re-enable blizzard buffs I can right-click them to remove them but I really don't like having two sets of buffs - the ag ones attached to the unit frame are nice.

    Is there a way to see, which of the debuffs/buffs on a target is from me? The Blizzard UI shows the Icon bigger for mine, but I am unable to find something similar in aguf.

    You are right that there needs be a way to differentiate your own buffs from others. But I don't like making some bigger than others, messes up the grid. Any other ideas? Coloring, highlight, border, alpha, something like that?

    Currently i am still using r668 which aside from combat text and not being able to move the party/raid frame while not having a party/raid. Is all good.
    They're are some errors once in a while but nothing then an aura not working or something minor. I can't wait for a new stable release but as it seems the OLD non compatible build, is actually a hell of a lot stable.

    I'll look into making setup mode work with party/raid frames again. What do you mean about combat text thought?

    Also, I cannot fix errors if you don't post them.
