AnnounceIt
A simple addon that lets you create messages to publish on desired channels, such as loot rules, VoIP connection info, guild messages, and the many other possibilities. You can set up up to 5 lines to be messaged at once and select the channel it will be published to.

AnnounceIt is a simple addon that lets you create messages to publish on desired channels, such as loot rules, VoIP connection info, guild messages, and the many other possibilities. You can set up up to 5 lines to be messaged at once and select the channel it will be published to.
As of 3.1.2:
- Updated directories causing the package to be incorrectly packaged cuasing Curse Client to not see the updates
As of 3.1.2:
- Added ability to link achievements
- Added sorted message lists

As of 3.0.2:

As of 3.0:
- This addon is now an LDB addon and should work with any LDB display. If you do not have an LDB display you will be able to use the addon through the Minimap button. If you wish to use this addon with fubar you will need an addon such as Broker2FuBar.
- Now supports links! For items and spells, drag the item/spell icon to the text box and click. For profession links, simply open the profession window and click in the text box
- /announceit will now open the options menu. Not much there now though...
- Custom channels are now supported
- Bug with messages being limited fixed
- A left click on the control will attempt to send last message/channel
- New version control so messages will never be reset again during an update
Please note, upgrading from a version pre 3.0 will wipe all messages current messages. You will need to add them again. This should not happen in future releases.

Possible to get spec added as a tag? example [SPEC] [CLASS] would show Frost Mage
I know the addon dualspeccer is able to pull the spec name, but i don't know how

Can we have an ability to link achievements? I need that to find people for various achievements I do as a raid leader

The other problem I had very recently: I wanted to create a crafting ad. Since i don't actually have the item in question, I could not drag it to add link :(
Good, but still, there're many other types of links, for instance, crafting recipes. Having powerful backup way via chat will always be great.
I will be doing another update in a day or two that will include achievement links and the message list will now be sorted alphabetically.
you will be able ot shift click the achievement and have it put it right in the message. Using the ChatFrame_OnHyperLink you would have to put the link in the chat window and then click on the link to get it in the message. I am all about fewer clicks :)
I believe you need to hook ChatFrame_OnHyperlinkShow for the best way of inserting links ever possible: this way, you can insert any link regardless of its type.
Can this be used to broadcast into Officers Chat and if so how would one do that?

I have not been able to play for some time. Now that I have started back I will start working on this again. I thought I already had officer chat there, but I guess I was wrong. I will get that added in the next version.

Awesome addon - I use it all the time.
One issue that I am having is trying to keep the 20+ announces that I have organised. Is it possible to get a way of moving the announces in the list so I can keep the ones I use during raids together, and the trade chat ones seperate.
Otherwise perfect!
With the next update messages will be sorted alphabetically, so you can prefix your titles to group them up.
