ALB has 5 main 'modules': browse, search, upgrade, detail, and wishlist. The screenshots should give a basic idea.

What is AphesLootBrowser?
ALB is an item database with tools to search and compare these items. It’s main goal is to find upgrades to your equipment, find out where and how to get it, and communicate that to your guild/raid/party.
ALB's database contains items from all dungeons and raids, faction vendors, and currencies/tokens from valor point to darkmoon faire tickets.
ALB does not reinvent the wheel. It is not a unique and wise idea. It basically mimics the functionalities of any other online item-database, only ingame. You can filter items by stats, drop location, slot, class, … just as you would on wowhead. Besides not having to alt-tab out of the game all the time, this gives the advantage of direct comparison to your currently equip items, and an ingame wishlist of items to share.
What ALB is not:
ALB is not AtlasLoot and it doesn’t try to be. If you want to see pets from children’s week or available cooking recipes, you’ll be disappointed. ALB is about equipable items in the late game. That being said: if there are pets on some boss’s loottable they will -of course- be included for the sake of completeness (and because I really like pets).

Hi again, trying to look around the LUA to find an easy way to sort my characters wishlists, but … errrr … well, you get it, couldn't find :P
So it would be great if you could implement that (sorting the wishlists by "Character Name" then "WishList Name"), because it gets a little out of hand when you have large alt characters :)

Since 4.3 R24 there is also an 'upgrade' button in your character screen.
Hey how long is the addon in upgrade tab going to keep showing 1day to next release this is a very nice addon just wish an update will come soon a nudge as asked :)

Noticed a problem with 4.3 r23 : the « Well of Eternity » dungeon is misplaced under "Normal instances", where it should show up under "Heroic instances".
That and only "Peroth'arn" is shown, "Queen Azshara" and "Mannoroth and Varo'then" are missing.

freaking was wondering where the third 4.3 instance was located in the browser.
as for the addon (and the misplacement of well of eternity) it is pretty nice, I have used it on two characters to great... stuff.

Came across this addon recently, and really like the majority of it as it's what I was searching as a replacement for AtlasLoot and it's wishlist.
Things I have noticed though :
Aside from that, what is the use of importing a wishlist from someone from your Group or Raid ?

They were still in the game files, so I just left them. Lazy me. Finally removed them now for the 4.3 release.
It's on my to-do list. Marked "srsly? go to work!". Give me 5 days :)

I initially started this addon for my guild/raid in early BC. Shared wishlists were the main reason. Swap out someone for a certain boss / skip optional bosses if noone needs anything… The feature was very handy organising raids. Now it's just a 'nice to know'.
would help with the up coming 4.3 patch.

adding old raid gear should still keep it light too. Atlas is too bog down with map's and other junk you don't need late game..
Or would you mind if someone like myself to do a add-on for your mod.. as atlas loot is to atlas( well something like that) still a great mod
I would really not see old items & stuff being put in, at least, not by default.
The good things about good addons is the fact to stay on what they need to do, this one is for a searchable database for items to ultimately build a « wishlist ».
So, for a wishlist, you really can't give a frack about old items.
Please keep AphesLootBrowser to the actual endgame content & tiers, and if really the requests for old items is that huge, well consider implementing them with separate addons (separated by Expansion) that would hook-up onto AphesLootBrowser :)
