All Minimap based frames (such as nodes, dig sites and dig site boundaries) have been prefixed now with ArchyMinimap To stop these addons from taking these frames from the minimap, add the following item to their protected items list: ArchyMinimap

--------------------

James D. Callahan III:
    - Ensure the digsite's map icon always has a tooltip.
    - Cleanup.
    - Always update the minimap icons for the nearest site, instead of attempting to cache whether or not they've been shown/hidden. Fixes ticket #557
    - If Archaeology is unknown, return 0, 0 instead of nil for GetArchaeologyRank()
    - Make sure currentDigsite isn't nil in ARCHAEOLOGY_FIND_COMPLETE before trying to manipulate it. Should only happen when digging immediately after a UI reload, but I keep getting reports... fixes ticket #554.
    - Make sure ArtifactFrame isn't nil before checking whether or not it has a skillBar. Fixes ticket #558.
    - If a match has already been found for spellID, don't look for another value.
    - Added artifact template field "usesItemForProjectName" to fix the remainder of ticket #549.

You can do this now in v1.5.1 by shift left clicking the minimap icon

    Awesome!!

This works great, but it seems when im zoning through somewhere and have toggled Archy off, the TomTom-arrow appears, clicking twice hides it like i want it when not looking for relics. but aye, zoning through a portal bugs it somehow.
    Stormwind a few times.

Thanks Darshan. I'll have a fix for this in the next version.
  • #18
And it would be cool if the list on screen also shows the race of the digsite (fossile, dwarfs etc).
  • #19
Once you have dug at a digsite once, it will remember what fragments you received from it. The racial crest will be updated on the digsite list once it knows.

Can you make the windows toggleable or hidable for when we're not archeologiing?
  • #17
    They are toggle-able.

    /archy toggle
or clicking on the minimap icon will toggle the archy displays.

It's nice that you added a TomTom support option, unfortunately it doesn't work well at all with Carbonite. If you turn on Carbonite's TomTom emulation so that Archy can see it the result is Carbonites quest tracking routes become wildly inaccurate, as taking you way to hell and gone out of your current zone and then back in to it. Basically, the addons do NOT work together very well at all. I suspect whatever parameters Archy is passing on for TomTom aren't in the order Carbonites emulation is expecting to see them.

It'd be really nice if you added another option that directly supports Carbonite quest tracking.

I will look into this sometime this week.

I've been using Carbonite with Archy 1.5.1/1.5.2 since yesterday. There hasn't been any problems with the information passed.

Check out the latest version and see if that has fixed the problem. If not, could you provide me with a screenshot of the the map pointing to the waypoint that is passed, etc.

    Thanks!

If enabled my Arch-window is unusable, the icons of the races are gone. enGB 1.4c

I am looking into this issue.

Alternatively you can bring up the artifact page by clicking on the artifact name in the Current Artifact Research list as Gorgar79 has said below.

You can solve artifacts by clicking (or right click to use keystones as well) on the race crest icon in the Current Artifact Research list.

still the same problem in 1.5
