I've noticed that if you go in zones were the coordinates are below 0, like in the great sea, deeprun tram or others, Archy start going from 100 CPU cycle in normal areas to over a 1000 when in those "out of bounds" area and there for droping the frame rate of the game from 100 FPS to 5 FPS. Is there a way to fix this orther than disabling the addon.
I was under the impression that the existing code checks for negative coords and stops processing position updates, but I'll take another look.
Hiding the lists (by clicking the LDB / Minimap icon) should stop updates anyway, is that what you mean by "disabling the addon"?
Well I just mean turn it off from the addon window before logging in.
And by clicking the LDB / Minimap icon it does stop the processing position updates and it goes into negative zones it just goes crazy and makes the client loose FPS like a stone until you get back into a normal zone.
I wish there was a way to see ALL of the digsites and their distances, considering the closest transfer points. For example, all of the points on my continent are 5000+ yards away, but I'm right next to a zepplin that takes me within 300 yards of a digsite. I'd like to see that taken into consideration. (This is part of why QuestHelper integration was suggested, so QuestHelper could route you through all of the digsites in the most efficient manner.)
Hi, quick question. Whenever I scroll over the archy label aside my minimap, some massive page shows up. I don't want that to show up, since it doesn't go away right away, it ends up filling my screen with data that I don't care to see, and it almost got me killed once. Is there a way to make this not show up opon mouseover?
The LDB tooltip autohides the moment you enter combat so it shouldn't get in the way (maybe you remember an older version where the tooltip could stay visible if you aggroed something when it was already showing)
That said there is no option to disable the minimap button tooltip specifically, but you can disable the minimap button itself from Archy options and either use keybinds to toggle Archy or an LDB display.
Great addon. I suggest adding a '/archy show' and a '/archy hide' ability from the chat window.
You can keybind "Toggle Archy". Hitting 1 key (or key-combo) is probably alot faster than typing a command.
Oh ok I'll look for that. Thanks.
Hi, I've tried to find the answer but have come up empty. Is there a way to change the transparancy of the window that shows you the nearest dig sites? I'm not sure what happened, but now its too transparant and I can't read where to go to next.
Game Options(Esc) ->Interface ->AddOns ->Archy
(or type /archy config)
->Dig sites ->Frame Options ->Opacity (slider)
Is it possible to move the Toast position for the Archy popus?
Download this AddOn, which will enable you to do so: Toaster
There is no slash command. You can view and change the settings under the Blizzard config UI for AddOns.
I have Toaster installed, but I cant work out how to move the frame, is there a slash command to access toaster?
