About Archy - Archaeology Assistant

If you care at all about my wishes, you won't download this AddOn from SolidIce: They are leeching it from the site I actually choose to put it on.

Archy is an assistant for Archaeologists that want information at their finger tips.

I am trying to send the various messages to a chat window but can't find which channel/style to send where? Ideas?
  • #1186
Would you be able to add this feature? I'm hoping that you could add a feature that when you enter a battleground/arena/instance it automatically hides the archaeology ui. That would be fantastic if you could add it :]

I kinda miss the creepy voice-over when looting a keystone. Is that gone for good, or just moved to an option I'm not seeing?
  • #1187
I have no idea what you're talking about - are you sure you didn't have another AddOn which did this?
  • #1188
He means the 'make archaeology more interesting' option in DBM. That option has indeed been removed.
  • #1184
Could you include support for TomTomLite also pls. :)
  • #1183
Any chance of adding Flight Map Enhanced( support? Not even sure if you can use it, but I'm so lazy while doing Archaeology. I tend to just take a flight if its more than one zone and then alt-tab while flying. FME allows you to ctrl+click on the map and it selects the nearest FP to the click, then will auto select where to fly when you next interact with a flight master. I already love Archy, just trying to be even lazier and save myself some clicks ;)

I have an issue with minimap node markers. For instance, just now I found a new spawn point... The new point did not get marked; two nearby known nodes disappeared; two other nodes that had not been marked suddenly appeared (assuming they were previously known, just not displaying for some unknown reason).

Having similar issues. Also I am not getting the TomTom waypoint error, despite it being enabled. Am I doing something wrong?
  • #1178
is there a way to disable the little Zelda sfx that goes off after every dig? I scoured all the options and couldn't find anything
  • #1177
I had the same problem, keystone did not work for any race (Dwarf, Night Elf, Troll).
Then I tried auto fill key stones for Night Elf, then it worked!
    Artifacts - AutoFill Key Stones
    Hope this helps! :)
  • #1179
I have the same problem, can only solve with keystones if I have auto fill enabled for that race.
  • #1176
I wish that worked for me. The only keystones that work for me are the ones for Trolls, all others do not work. Archy recognizes that they exist (they're shown in Archy stats), but won't use them. It's rather annoying.
  • #1175
I can use keystones just fine as long as they are in my inventory while I'm out surveying. If I pull them out of the bank and then try to use keystones, it won't work until I next survey and loot fragments, because Archy doesn't correctly update it's concept of current inventory except on fragment loots.

I tried all the version available for download on Curse, and all of them has the problem of not using key stones. I know it used to work, so I'm assuming something must of changed with one of Blizz's hot fixes.
