Please go to the curseforge.com link listed in the description above, click the Localization tab, and add/change/delete/etc there. Once on the web page, every time I flag an update, it will get the latest translations automatically.

Archy doesn't seem to be recording my dig sites. I thought it is supposed to display where I got an artifact on the mini-map.
  • #961
You need GatherMate2 and GatherMate2_Data, and that should fix you up! Don't forget to import the latest Data in GM2's settings. Esc, Addons, GatherMate2, Import.

shouldn't need gathermate as archy does that(unless you want the locations other people have found artifacts in since Archy only records your own finds)...you just have to make sure "Show Fragment Nodes" is checked in the Minimap options part of Archy's Options...

Personally prefer Archys way of doing it since you choose to have it color code the fragment locations by distance making it easier to determine which spot is likely the one you need
  • #969
also archy only shows the fragment locations in currently active digsites instead of all the locations everywhere all the time like gathermate...which is yet another reason I prefer it for node tracking over gathermate...

Thank you myrroddin for doing what you are doing and keeping it updated. Although some people will never be happy and just like to complain, please know that thousands of us truly appreciate your efforts. /bow

This is a community effort, so all of you who have helped both here and on wowinterface.com take a /bow

Despite a great value, the code of this addon is very unstable, in my opinion, should be completely rewritten
Aber is for me to resize a frame too fast, and also unnecessarily
  • #964
Most large scale addons are "unstable", especially after a Blizzard patch. Notice the hundreds of updates to hundreds of addons since 4.1? I agree the code needs work, but it is hardly unstable.

This addon is the best thing since sliced bread. If you do Archaeology you definitely need this.
  • #950
Could someone please provide instructions on how to update this for 4.1?

I went to the website in the yamyam1976 posted and downloaded it but I'm still getting the growing digiste box bug as mentioned in Enigma's post.

Why can't you add the versions onto the curse website so they can easily be updated by the client?

If not, what is the addon client people are using? wowmatrix?
  • #951
WowMatrix = infect your computer, get hacked, lose WoW account.

No, people are not talking about an update client, they are talking about file locations. Yamyam's link is good, but only if you read the comments, as the download he listed does not work in 4.1 ...

    You want this: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/archy/repositories/myrroddin/files/

Do not forget: delete your old Archy folder and replace with the one downloaded from the link I just gave you.

If you want to share something with the world at-least make sure its correct.

Wowmatrix is not a source of viruses and so on. It's a great tool and has
been working great ever since curse blockt it of the website , because
it was taking to much bandwidth and curse wants money for downloading
    several addons at a time.

And not so long ago curse downloader was infested with a trojan downloader
soul purpose to steal your in-game details.

So get your fax straight please.
