More than likely your new digsite was just that: a new digsite. Several were added with this patch and Archy doesn't know what to do with them yet, so it just kind of freaks out. If you can get the full name of the digsite, as well as the zone, I can add it so that it doesn't occur in the future.
  • #719
All added sites, with blobid's as I find them.

    Kalimdor (Uldum specifically):
    River Delta Digsite
    Cursed Landing Digsite
    Keset Pass Digsite - 60354
    Akhenet Fields Digsite - 60356
Obelisk of the Stars Digsite - 60358
    Sahket Wastes Digsite
    Schnottz's Landing - 60363

    Pit of Fiends Digsite (Icecrown)
    Sands of Nasam (Borean Tundra)

    Eastern Kingdoms (Both EPL):
    Terrorweb Tunnel Digsite
    Plaguewood Digsite

Forgot to add races, all 7 kalimdor (uldum) are tol'vir, the remaining 4 sites added in northrend and ek are both nerubian.

same here, all the ones that have messed up for me are in that list.

Is there any chance of an option to use the pre-1.7 look of Archy? The new bar-based system takes up way too much space and lacks a lot of the functionality that I started using Archy for in the first place, like the digsite count tracker and a heads-up display of my keystones.

1.7 is a serious step backwards in regards to usability for this addon. :(
  • #706
It looks like the internals have changed in non-trivial ways in 1.7. However, there are "Display" tabs in the configs for both windows which should allow you to shrink it and get it a lot closer (though not the same as) the old style.
  • #700
While I have no intention of doing so myself, assuming the internals of the 1.6 line of Archy are similar to the 1.7 line, I wouldn't think it would be hard to make the changes required to make it functional once more.

The changes to the game were minor and mostly just caught people off guard, I think.

Can someone please make a fix for Archy so i can see my two windows again, the LDB is fine but i like those two windows, i allready put in the code that LLGames has made, but that does not get my windows back...
  • #701
yeah i've lost my windows too, also can't set them back any tick boxes don't stay ticked in /acrch config

seems to kill the game too, as soon as i dig i have horrendus lag, so unfortunately had to switch if off for now :(
  • #691
I've actually finished a fix of this nature. I'm just waiting approval on it's posting so that I can link it for people to use. Hopefully soon.
  • #693
The little thing that pops up that tells you how far you've traveled within a digsite (green, yellow, & red) is also gone, is that coming back too?
  • #694
It was working fine for me with my copy, so it should be. Bear in mind I'm using the most recent copy, which is 1.7b7. If you're still using 1.6.3 I'm afraid I can't help you there.
  • #696
With the mass rush of 'bugfixes' that Curse and Interface are having to deal with, I'd not be surprised if you fix gets lost for several days.
