About AtlasQuest - Fan Update
AtlasQuest is an addon for Atlas that displays a list of
quests for each dungeon, battleground and outdoor raid along with
information and rewards for those quests.
AtlasQuest was originally created by Asurn. It is currently maintained
by Thandrenn (aka Mystery8).

NOTE: If you see the Quest completed icon showing up for quests you did not complete, you can clear your settings to correct this.
Delete the AtlasQuest.lua file in your World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\
Then use the "Quest Query" button to re-scan completed quests.

the quests for TBC instances were outdated. now TBC instances are having quest giver inside the instance, the quests given outside of the instances were removed.
Yep! We're working on updates for that now :)
I downloaded and installed Atlasquest and recieved nno errors on the install through curse. Logged into the game, entered BRD and opened Atlas (I have all the aditional Atlas downloads). When I click on the AtlasQuest button nothing happens. I have tried the /AQ amd /atlasquest buttons but they are not recognised.
I have tried disabling all add-ons except for Atlas and AtlasQuest, but I still get no result. AtlasQuest does show up under the Interface Options under the Add-Ons tab, so something is recognising that it is there.
As I said earlier, there are no error messages; it just does not do anything. Do you have any advice?
I'm unable to reproduce your problem. I tried clearing out my addons folder and re-installing just Atlas and all of its modules and then AtlasQuest via the Curse client. When I logged into the game, everything worked fine.
The only thing I saw which I thought *might* cause a problem is if there is no Addons folder, the Curse Client creates one but calls it "addons" instead of "Addons".
This didn't seem to be an issue for me on Windows 7. Are you running a different Operating System or is your addons folder using all lower-case letters? If so try capitalizing the first letter and see if that does anything.
Aside from that, check a few of the Instance maps in Atlas and see if they're loading right. Do one from each expansion. And try clicking on AtlasQuest button for each. It sounds like AtlasQuest loaded okay (if you're seeing it under Interface Addons options), but doesn't recognize any of the maps for some reason.
Did you use the Curse client or install them by hand?
Sorry I've taken so long to reply. I haven't been able to figure out what the issue is or reproduce it?
What language is WoW running in?
Also can you check your Atlas folders and see that:
Cataclysm maps are under: Atlas\Images\Maps
Lich King maps are under: Atlas_WrathoftheLichKing\Images
The maps are the .BLP files. If you're seeing the maps loading in Atlas fine, that shouldn't be a problem but I just want to doublecheck that the files are at the place AtlasQuest expects them to be.
Mystery8,
Thx for replying. The add-ons folder appears to be all OK "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\AtlasQuest"
I downloaded and installed both add-ons using thh curse client. Auctioneer suite is the only add-on I don't use curse for because of some bad experiences with losing all the AH history :-(
So far I've using atlasquest in classic (BRD, LBS and UBS) and Outland (Ramparts, Mana Tombs) and no luck. The maps are all loading OK but the AQ button is a null. I'll try some cata instances later in the week and let you know.
Is there any diagnostic data I can gather dor you?
Diph
I have the most up to date version but none of the quest Pre-Cata are showing up.
Do you have all the modules installed for Atlas? They recently split their addon into multiple modules.
I'm wondering if there's anyway to get AtlasQuest to work for Atlasloot?
Would be wonderful to see it work for it to rather then just Atlas (which I finds rather clumsy, compared to Atlasloot)
Thanks!
Not at the moment, but maybe one day :)
