Separated Addon Packages
Due to the total size of our addon is increasing bigger and bigger since we are having more and more maps, we have heard many users complaining about the download issue, and suggested us to find some workaround.
We have discussed internally and also discuss with Curse team, our final decision is to separate our built-in plugins into individual addon packages (also individual addon projects).
Also, we have moved out the old dungeon maps and re-categorized them based on the expansion set. For example, Burning Crusade dungeon maps are now only available in another addon package.
This provide the flexibility of addon downloading. Users who don't need any specific plugin or expansion dungeon maps can decide not to download them. Or, those plugins and old dungeon maps won't get frequently updated, therefore, users who have download all the Atlas addon packages don't need to download all the packages each time when there is a new release.

About Atlas
Atlas is an addon for World of Warcraft that includes detailed maps for every instance in the game. Originally, Blizzard neglected to include maps for instances. However, after a number of years Blizzard began to include official maps for some instances. These official maps are in the same hand-drawn style as the built-in world maps. Conversely, the Atlas maps are based on data used by the minimap, which provides a more detailed, accurate, and colorful representation. You can think of this as the difference between a street map and a satellite image.
Furthermore, while the built-in maps mark the locations of some major bosses, Atlas provides detailed and accurate information about all of the creatures, NPCs, objects, and events you'll encounter in each dungeon. General information about each zone is provided as well, including its location, level range, player limit, attenuation requirement, and associated faction. All entrances, exits, portals, and connections are labelled clearly. Because there are so many instances in the game, you can categorize them by type, level, number of players, continent, or expansion.
Finally, in addition to instances, Atlas comes with a handful of optional components that add even more maps. These include outdoor encounter maps, global transportation maps, dungeon location maps, and battleground maps. Each optional component can be enabled, disabled or removed individually. A number of third-party Atlas extensions are available as well, which further augment the functionality of Atlas. AtlasLoot is the most popular of these, providing detailed drop and item information for every encounter, but there are also packages for quest information and major city maps as well.
Configuration
Atlas has a few simple options, accessible from the Options button in the upper-right corner of the main window, or with the slash-command /atlas options. A few of the settings aren't very self-explanatory so here's some more information about them.
- '''Auto-Select Instance Map''': detects the instance that you're in when you open Atlas, and then automatically switches to the appropriate map. This feature doesn't work in instances that have more than one map, like Blackrock Spire, Dire Maul, or many of the Outland instances. In this case, Atlas remembers the last map you had open.
- '''Right-Click for World Map''': makes the World Map open when you right-click anywhere on the Atlas window. This is useful when you want to quickly switch from Atlas to the World Map.
- '''Clamp Window to Screen''': makes it so that you can't drag the Atlas window off the edge of the screen. The rest of the options are pretty straightforward. The Reset Position button is useful if the Atlas window ever gets dragged completely off-screen and you can't get it back.
3rd Parties Atlas Plugins
Atlas has a built-in plugin system allowing for the easy addition of map packs. In fact, Atlas ships with four of these plugins (for battlegrounds, dungeon locations, flight points, and outdoor raid bosses). If you're interested in making your own Atlas map pack, we suggest you start with one of these four as a guide. You can contact us or post on the Atlas forums if you need help, however we suggest you do as much research as possible beforehand. Furthermore, there are several Atlas plugins that do more than simply provide additional maps.
- AtlasLoot provides a loot table for each boss
- AtlasQuest displays the quests associated with each instance.
- AtlasMajorCities displays each major cities and all the NPCs, merchants, vendors, trainers info
- Atlas World Events - provide maps and quests information for WoW World Events. Maintained by Arith.
- Atlas Arenas - provide arenas maps. Maintained by Arith.
Before Installing
- Any previous versions of Atlas including Atlas' built-in plugins must be deleted prior to installation.
- Atlas plugins (AtlasLoot, AtlasQuest, etc.) designed for any version of Atlas prior to this one may need to be deleted as they may not be compatible.
How to Install
- Unzip the package into your World of Warcraft folder.
- Your zip software must preserve directory structures.

I am not able to reproduce this problem, probably some of your addon is conflicting with Atlas.
Could you try only enable Atlas and see if problem is still there?
Doesn't look like Atlas' problem. Please try disable all addons and only enable Atlas, to see if problem is still there.
I'm missing some random maps. Would it be possible to post a link to where I can download them? Many thanks in advance!
Please read our addon description on Curse.com or our forum. This has been discussed and mentioned several times.
For some reason, none of the text shows up in the right panel. I even went and installed all the extra addons. Not sure what the problem is.
Probably some conflict with other addons, could youtry disable other addons?
I'm missing some maps. Where can I download the map module(s). For example, I don't have Scarlet Monastery: Armory, Library, etc...
I found out that Atlas had to separated the Clasic, Burning Crusade, Wrath of Lich King and Cataclysm maps as the addon itself was getting too large. so with the default download they have included only the Cata instances. If you still want the maps for the Clasic, BC & WoLK, they can be downloaded by scrolling down the "About Atlas" section above and they provide you with the links for the rest of the instances maps.
He means you can't see other people on the map like you can in a dungeon while looking at the dungeon map.
indeed, our dungeon map is static map, so you won't see other party / raid member's position.
you know, the only downside to Atlas is that you can't see where people are without referring to the normal dungeon map. I think that this change would greatly increace the usefullness of this addon.
Sorry, I didn't quite understand you, could yo uexplain a little bit more?
I find a Collection Bot,
easy to use.I appreciate all the hard work you've put into it.

Not sure if the vote is working or not, please visit here: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/atlas/tickets/131-vote-for-splitted-atlas-addons-or-one-full-package/
Was there an in-game notice about the split? Because I only noticed that it had been split when I tried to open a Classic map, got nothing and came here. CurseClient didn't pick up on the split either.
But I don't mind the split at all. Actually I find the download speed via the Client rather slow so the less I need to download the better (maybe the Premium version is faster *shrug*).
Thank you for Atlas, AtlasLoot and AtlasQuest! :)
