Do you mean when you search on the BROWSE tab? If that's what you mean, than it's not possible, as Blizzard does the sorting on their servers. But if you use Auctionator's BUY tab then that's exactly what you'll get.
  • #283
    IRID1UM,
Yup, I've heard both of these request before and will put them on my to-do list. Question: do you want the old "Auction Created" message or just nothing?
  • #285
    I'd like the options...
    - Foremost: being able to switch Auction house tab regardless of Auctioneer activity

    - The Output Message: to be able to specify which created Chat Tab to show it in.
    - Creating 1(to n)Auction(s) of "Soon to be even More happy toons" - :)
    - with a money summary: Created (100) Auctions. Each – (5g(0sc0)) Total: (500g)

    - Sometimes Auctioneer still creates new auctions disregarding a given new price
in favor of the previously set

Am I to fast, creating new once?
I would very much like the option to make this behavior obsolete :)
It’s annoying as hell… to notice an Item posted for the wrong price
and thus scrolling a very long, clearly inferior, “Auctions” tab
    – without Search or Sort functions whatsoever - just to cancel the auction to find that…
the auction that was set to the wrong Buyout price was one of the last created…
“oh did I do that or somewhat else?” – Clearly I don’t check every last Auction all the time.

    - A “Cancel Auction” option of created Auctions at the “Sell” Tab
(or is it a possibility to change in the standard tab?)
    - With Search and Sort Features.
    - Worth: Adding a Value summary.
    - Options to have it more specified. “Bags” “Herbs” “Cloth” Etc. .-)
    - Having a Chat Output option.
    - Exact Time Expiry - instead of “Small” “Long” etc.

    All in all…

thanks a lot for all your great work :)
  • #284
I don't know, I'd say if you add an option it should show the auction created message (in any form) or show no message at all when disabled.
Another feature that would be nice is that auctionator automatically fills in a price from the price history if no similar items were found (in the sell tab).
    Thanks for all your work!
  • #282
    Hi Zirco!
Once again thanks for this addon. It makes auctioning so much easier.
    I have a feature request though :(
Please make the "Auction created for..." notification toggleable. It generates way too much text and the first thing I always do after updating to a new version is to edit the code and remove that functionality.
Second: The window to enter the quantity for multiple auctions is on an odd spot, I'd say most people would hit the multi-auction button, confirm and then mouse back over the inventory. So maybe the popup should be placed in such a position that the confirmation button is "on the way" back to the inventory: more to the bottom right of the screen. I edited that on my computer too and it allows a more streamlined auctioning.
    Cheers & thanks
  • #281
    Sursisyor,
If you ctrl-alt click an item in your bags Auctionator will automatically split off a singleton (stack of 1), load it into the Sell tab and kick-off the scan.

    Zirco,

I have not managed to reproduce the server-lag bug today. It might be that one of your recent builds has eliminated the bug (I've been away for a couple weeks), or that it only happens when I have a higher latency. Yes, in times of poor latency I'd have to wait around 5 seconds between auctions, long enough for the new listing to refresh in the Auction window to prevent this happening. I will report back if I get it again. At the moment Auctionator seems very robust in refreshing and correcting bugs - excellent!

I didn't know you could select different auctions to undercut - awesome!

Another thing that I forgot to mention : I would really like to have a "Create Multiple Auctions" option when alt-clicking on a stack, instead of having to split it once first, or is this possible and I've not been using the feature correctly?

  • #279
    Sussisyor,

    Thanks for the kind words.

Regarding the bug you described: I think I understand what your saying but I'm unable to reproduce it - perhaps because my server isn't lagging atm. Am I correct that if you go slowly this is never a problem? How often does this problem occur for you?

Regarding your suggestion about splitting the Create Auction button: sounds a bit complex. You can always click on a different auction to undercut rather than just the cheapest auction.

Regarding wildcard matching: something that's on my list.

    Thanks,
    Zirco
  • #278
    Zirco,

First of all, my compliments on an outstanding economy addon. In my humble opinion, it is by far the best out there in terms of saving me time and the only addon which compliments rather than interferes with selective manual buying/selling in order to make the most profit possible at the fastest rate.

    Bugs/issues :

Assume I have several items I am listing all at 1c lower than lowest AH price. Due to server lag, if I haven't waited until the previous item has left my bags and been registered as listed, when I click the next item to be "auctionated" it includes my previous item's price in the list and if that price is lower than the new item request prices I end up listing my new item too cheaply. I have tried to explain that as clearly as possible!

A workaround which would also add a helpful feature is to split the "create auction button" into "create suggested auction" and "ignore cheapest auction" because sometimes you don't want to undercut the cheapest if it is significantly lower.

Buy tab : Could you add a column to the list space with item name, and then generic matching would be possible such for when you want to see things like "bijou" or "carrier". Can you allow " * " to be appended to a search string to do this?

    Regards,
    Sursisyor

  • #276
    Jenexx,

Glad to hear that you're finding it helpful!

    Zirco

I really like the new "buy" feature. Makes
comparison shopping so much easier. Thanks!

  • #275
    Apaseall,

Regarding the issue with overlaying tabs when using Auc-Adv: this will be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, a work-around is to click on one of the built-in tabs in between.

Regarding the other issue when using Auc-Adv, I'll look into it but it might be hard to fix.

Regarding a "buy all" button, Blizzard has intentionally made that impossible. They require a user-action for every bid. There might be some clever way around this but since Blizzard clearly doesn't want to allow this behavior, I'm not going to go against their wishes.

Regarding a Bid button: that would really require that I display the bid prices which would significantly change the way I'm able to summarize the auctions and would add a lot of complexity that I'm trying to avoid. That said, I recognize that Auctionator doesn't help you find items with low starting prices and I might do something in the future to address this.

Regarding the pricing discrepancy: sounds like some rounding error. I'll look into it.

    Thanks for all the feedback,
    Zirco

Pity about the 'buy all' instances of item xxx being sold at price yyy.

As an argument for: auctioneer allows batch posting and ATSW allows the creation of all instances of create x number of y items broken down into sub creation.

My interpretation for 'buy all' was to click the 'buy all' button, then click yes to each confirmation popup. So similar to what we do now but rather than clicking buy, yes, buy, yes, buy, yes we would have 'buy all', yes, yes, yes.

I can see Blizz's throwing a fit if we just clicked 'buy all' and nothing else to purchase many auctions.

Overlay, good news about the up comming fix.
Bid button, we see a line for bid only auctions without any data as you say. I was wondering if this could be populated and bid upon.
  • #274
I took a look at linen cloth.
In the buy tab it said 5 lots of 20 at 6s 3c unit price and 1g 20s 56c total.
In the browse tab it said stack of 20 at 6s 2c unit price and 1g 20s 56c.
Looking further down the buy tab list it looks like the unit price is 1c above the browse price.

  • #273
Any chance of adding a bid option to the buy tab?
  • #272
    On the Sell tab:
Can we get an option to buy all of the stacks on the highlighted line instead of having to repeatedly buy and confirm?
Would that be against Blizz's automation rules?

Also can we have the ability to drag the little confirmation popup box around the screen please?
