    duppsko,
You can click on any line in the summary and Auctionator will adjust its recommendation based on that auction.

  • #308
    thanks, that worked.
maybe a setting that would exclude things that is 50%(adjustable) cheaper then the next one would be nice :)
  • #311
erm, just look and if someone posted their items too cheap, then simply don't put your item up for auction. it just takes one second to see.
  • #303
Maybe a dork question that can easily be solved by using a search function ;-) But: I really don't give much for how much stuff sold in the past. Does this addon scan the item I place in the sell tab automaticly?
  • #304
    Thnudertom,
Yes, that exactly what Auctionator does.
    - Zirco
  • #305
Youre awesome. Ive finally rid myself of that overstocked Auctioneer with a zillion functions I never use anyway. This is lightweight and gets the job done.

    Well done, sir!
  • #302
Hey thanks for the quick reply. You're a good salesman xD

I've decided to give it a go and I'm liking the idea more and more. Had just a brief minute to get acquainted with Auctionator last night and could quickly see some of the reasons why people view it so positively.

This was prior to reading your response so can't wait to get rolling with the combo as it does look to be precisely what I was looking for.

    Greatly appreciated

    Marc,

Hi, I am the author of Auctionator.

Auctionator does not do full scans, but it DOES integrate with the Wowecon addon, which I believe gives the most accurate pricing data you can get. Wowecon bases it's pricing data only on auctions that sell, rather than just postings. It also handles item tooltips and disenchanting information and is very simple to use. The only gotcha' with Wowecon is that you have to run the Wowecon WoW launcher every now and then in order to get the latest pricing information.

Hope that helps. Of course, I'm biased, but I think Auctionator and Wowecon make for a pretty optimal AH/economy setup.

Very interested in this addon - have been a mass auctioner for 4 years now and am always looking for ways to be more efficient now as I dont have nearly as much game time as I did back in the day.

Currently, I am using a combo of AuctionMaster+Fence for all of my auctioning needs and am pleased. However, AuctionMaster is a resource hog and this one claims to be (and people seem to agree) lighweight for its purpose.

So what I am wondering is the full scope of this addon.

Can it scan the entire AH? (I dont believe it does)

If not, and I gave up AuctionMaster, I would be giving up my detailed tooltips of pricing and activity data that is readily available anywhere and at anytime - and not to mention my data is now quite accurate after tons of scans.

So if this is beyond the scope of this addon does anyone know of an alternative combo addon I could use to suppliment?

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And thanks for what looks to be a great addon.

  • #298
    Oh, new version
    /me likes :)
    Thanks!
  • #297
    Awesome Zirco! You rock.
    Excellent addon
  • #296
The price edit boxes are reset to the default when switching between tabs. On the bright side, the "Create multiple auctions" button is no longer wrongly disabled. But I often use the Browse tab after dropping an item on the Sell tab (and adjusting the buyout price) to check the scan results for other peoples' bid prices or remaining duration.

Perhaps these current bid prices could be somewhere in the tooltips of the scan results in the Sell tab?
  • #301
Oh, and Ctrl-Alt-clicking a stack always fails with "Could not split those items". It seems as if the addon nicely takes off one item but tries to put it in a wrong (non-empty) location.
  • #294
Thanks for this. Lightweight and manifold addon!

    greeting slaxi
  • #293
I really like this mod. One thing I suggest though is to add a starting bid auto price. I hate that when I put something on and the price comes up at 142 gold, the starting bid is like 137 gold, which isn't low enough in my opinion. I'd like a menu that I could set it to start the minimum bid at like 60% (or whatever I choose) of the buyout price unless that price is less than the vendor selling price plus the deposit cost. Any chance that could be added?
