About AutoBar

AutoBar is a Multi-bar mod that automatically adds potions, water, food, quest and other items you specify into buttons for easy use. Does not use up action slots. You can create your own categories of items, dragging items from bags, or spells from spell books into it. You can make custom Buttons that contain 1 or more Custom or Built in categories. You can create custom Bars to organize your Buttons to suit your interface needs. WoW has thousands of items you may obtain. AutoBar automatically organizes frequently used items for you, saving you the drudgery of dragging stuff from your bags to an action bar. Since AutoBar does not use up the limited action slots available, you can save those for your spells and abilities. All releases will be done on Curse.com and WoWInterface.com so grab it from whichever you prefer.

Please go to http://www.MuffinManGames.com for support.

This worked for me as well when I followed Baisaacs suggestion below. Though I had to comment out the lines for "Vanish" and "Stealth" but not for "Ice Armor" or "Demon Armor" until I logged in with a different class. So what you have to comment out may depend on what classes your toons are. Also, If you don't comment out "Vortex Pinnacle", you'll get an error but the bars will still appear.

did the trick for me! Thanks =D

need 4.0.1 update PLS
• #526
easy to update. if you have bug sack or other error reporting addon installed just look at the lines that are causing the errors. i had 1 rogue line, 3 mage and 2 druid lines. i just commented out those sections ie --[[ area to comment out --]]. save file and log out/in. check next lines, rinse repeat until its no longer causing errors.

i just depends on what buttons you are using. the ones on my rogue were for vanish. since i dont use autobar to hit vanish i commented it out as listed above.

if its not being updated im sure some talented programmer who uses this could easily get it updated.

I only use the basic bar which is not showing at all, nor are any other autobar bars

This addon is BROKEN in 4.01 and I cannot play without it. Seriously there is no other addon like it and I will be extremely disappointed along with thousands of others if it's not updated.

PUHLEEZE... begging!

Do not run with Battender 4.0 (for game 4.0.1) yesterday in wow 3.3
I will try today with wow 4.0.1, but it seems to need an update for 4.0.1 game

agree looking for 4.x update
• #521
Hey will Autobar be updated anytime soon?
• #520
is there anyway of setting up a profile where the bars will move to a set location when you switch specs

I was having major lag spikes with every kill so I deleted my WTF folder and addons folder and re-installed autobar. Regrettably the lag spikes occurred with just this addon enabled. It is a tough loss because this addon was very useful for me. Hopefully in the future there will be an update that fixes the problem.

Is it getting a Cata version ????

• #517
What would be very cool for this addon is to have a DAILY quest option ... i know they have a quest section ... but a bar just for dailys. exampl;e if you dont have the item in your bag for a daily then it wont show.... i have been trying to make a custom bar for this ... but it is still showing me items i have added to the bar even if it is not in my bag.... maybe it is my macro writing or something, also i have tried to get it to show what the item looks like, but it still shows me the little box like a parcel.

I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. How do you add buttons to existing categories or even create new categories? The configuration panel is confusing and drag and drop doesn't do what I want it to do. Here's what I thought to do: Enable "Move Buttons" to see the category on the bar, enable the drop option, drag and drop item onto category. What happened is it created a whole new category "Custom1" not on any bar. Also, when I added a category, it took messing with several options just to get the item to show on the bar I wanted. Is this addon gui-friendly, or do I have to jump into the code and learn my way around in order to add stuff?
