About AutoCombatLogger

6.0 and Warlords of Draenor

Due to the changes in the raid sizes, please verify your raid logging settings as they need to be updated.

Overview

AutoCombatLogger automatically enables or disables the combat log based on location. It's specifically tailored to control the logging based on the raid name and difficulty.

Logging can be controlled for the following locations:

  • Raid (Can be customized per raid, raid size, and difficulty)
  • Instances
  • Arenas (Can be customized per arena)
  • Battleground (Can be customized per battleground)
  • World

Currently, you cannot customize instances and world.

It also provides an LDB launcher and a minimap icon to control it.

Options are set under Interface Options or typing /acl.

I posted a new release just now.  I have it working on 5.0.  I have not been able to add the new raids yet though.  If you see any issues, please let me know.

Very neat and useful addon indeed.
Thinking about it, it may save some setup time, if the default for "custom" is all unchecked.
From user's experience, if the user choose the "custom" option, the user may only be interested in a small selection of specific raids to log (very likely for log analysers); or else the user would choose the "all" option.
    Hope this helps.

It is true that the more I've used it, the more I just want to log the latest raids so most of the raids are unselected.

If I don't change it, I might consider adding an option to select or unselect all.  It would be quicker to set it up then.

    Thanks for the feedback.
