About AutoLog

AutoLog - Auto combat Log

As of v4.0.1.9 the development of this addon has been taken over from the original author - Rylanor

AutoLog automatically turns on and off your combat log while going inside or outside raid or dungeon instances

Why, and for who ?

Because sometimes people who are "making logs" just forgot to launch them, because they may want something to do this alone.

Features

  • Global 'enable' key, that allow you to block all combat logging changes from AutoLog
  • Option to turn logging on for any Heroic 5 player instance
  • Logging preferences 'by raid instance'. Can differ between 10/25/10 heroic/25 heroic
  • Always shows you in the configuration frame if combat logging is turned on or off
  • Supported raid instances (10/25 normal and heroic modes, if available):
    • Naxxramas
    • The Eye Of Eternity (Malygos)
    • The Obsidian Sanctum (Sartharion)
    • Vault of Archavon (+ Emalon / Koralon / Toravon)
    • Ulduar
    • Trial of the Crusader

  • Logging feature uses LibBabble-Zone-3.0 (enUS, frFR, deDE, koKR, esMX, ruRU, zhCN, esES, zhTW)

    Can you make on option to pop up something everytime I enter an Intsance giving me the option to turn on logging? then put like a little squear on the top left corner of the screen Light Grey when not logging and Light Green when logging, would make life allot easier.

    Confirmed just now - No option available for LFR versions of either part of Dragon Soul. Would be nice if it were there :)

    This is now temporarily fixed, many thanks to Beregond for his help with this. Please note than none English clients will not detect the zone until I have the relevant translations.

    And look for "The Dragon Wastes". Once this zone has been added to LibBabblezone I will push another release to handle this.

    I'm running the latest version but the addon never logs any LFR boss; there are no specific options for this mode and I've ticked Dragon Soul in all modes (in fact in 10 man and 25 man normal/heroic it works perfectly).

    Is it possible to add an extra option to enable or disable LFR boss logs please?

    It does not start the automatic logging of the "Fall of Deathwing" part of the Looking for Raid for Dragon Soul  This is on the North American English client.

    Release 4.3.0.3 isn't working in french LFR of Dragon Soul... Sorry :'(

    I've finally been able to get into the instance on a French client. V4.3.0.4 is tested and working. Sorry for the delay.

    I've corrected the French loc for "Dragon Soul", but it has been overwritten prematurely on LibBabble-Zone Localization's page. I've re-submit my translation.

    Problem is in the apostrophizes

     

    Good version is : ["Dragon Soul"] = "L’Âme des dragons",

    wrong one was : ["Dragon Soul"] = "L'Âme des dragons",

    Subtle change ( ' -> ’ ) but working ;)

     

    PS:About other problems with zones names, just type /who when you're in the zone, you'll have the client's working orthography ready to copy/paste.


    BTW, really nice addon, using it for a long time.

    Well spotted that man!

    I have downloaded the French client but have not yet had the chance to get into the instance with it. I've put a temporary fix into AutoLog that should override the LibBabble-Zone translation until they do their next release version containing your correction.

     

    Thanks for the help and please let me know if my change works ok.
