About Automatic Raid Inviter

This is an addon that lets you specify an "Invite text" and a "Raid description".

Whenever somebody whispers you the "Invite text" and the addon is active, they will automatically get a group invite.

You can also let it spam a given channel with a message containing the "Raid description" and the "Invite text" to let people know how to get an invite for your raid.

use "/ARI" to toggle window

02-November-2009 - Updated for game version 4.0.1

20-July-2009 - Now allows 'special' characters in the "invite text" without issues

18-March-2009 - Now only converts to raid if window is visible

04-March-2009 - Now prohibits a spam interval of 0 minutes

- Now works if you're alone, raid leader or raid officer as well and party leader

- Now properly reverts edit boxes content when loosing focus to anything but enter pressed

04-March-2009 Added a close button for convenience.

04-March-2009 First seemingly stable and feature complete version.

    Flawed. Impossible to test without spamming general/guild/trade. Doesn't work for the lfg channel. Doesn't close with 'esc'. No way to modify message to hide the 'secret invite phrase', meaning if you use it in general, you'll get tons of scrubs inviting themselves to your raid.

    dont bother.

    Great addon mate , was wondering if you might think of some more funcitionality for us poor buggers that have been running a guild for 5 years, maybe ability ro auto promo officer to assit , or set it to ml and a threshold for the ML, if not still a great addon cheers

    Hello, I downloaded this mod today and I'm unable to make it work. I was looking through my other mods and although I don't use a whisper mod I do use a chat mod, Prat. I wonder if anyone could confirm that this mod works with prat or not.

    i just discovered your addon and i like it very much.
    but there is one small thing. could you set the spam timer to minimum 15 secs or something
    1 minute is realy long

    1 minute is really long?? If anyone spammed a channel every minute, much less 15 seconds, asking for help, i'd put them on ignore.

    wont auto invite for me. the way i do it is by first typing /ARI then i just type in raid info and keyword : invite afterwards i just check the spam button. It invites the first 5 people but then stops. and if im already in a group, it wont invite anyone at all. any suggestion on the proper way on doing it plz?

    If you have a problem with this, simply stating you couldn't get it to work isn't of any use.

    I use it and some fellow officers in my guild use it and they can get it to work, so what I need to know is how you tried to make it work and thus maybe figure out what you did differently from all those who could get it to work.

    Unfortunatey it did not work. :( I started /ari and I wrote a raid desc. and I wrote inv for inv and kept the window open, get whispers over WIM with "inv", but nothing else, but it did not work.

    Any idea?

    ARI intercepts chat messages added to your chat frame, if WIM intercepts them fist, ARI won't get them.

    Je viens de l installer trop drole le spam de demande d invite d 1 coup lol sur le canal guilde je V l utiliser pour le joug ca a l R de fonctionner du tonerre G changer la 1ere phrase pour mettre "test" et la 2nd ligne pour mettre "+1" merci pour cet addon.
