About AutoRepair

This smallest addon ever made does one simple thing - automaticaly repairs all your items when you visit a vendor with repair ability, so you don't have to care about pressing that annoying button :-).

To set repair mode, use following commands:

/ar ownonly - repairs only from your own gold
/ar guild - tries to repair from guild bank, then tries to repair from your own gold
/ar own - tries to repair from your own gold, then tries to repair from guild bank if you don't have enough gold for repair
/ar guildonly - only uses guild bank for repairs
/ar off - disables automatic repairs

I will do my best to keep it updated, but I no longer play WoW so it takes some time before I hear form someone that my addons are outdated. If you notice the addon is out of date just email me: markyxll at gmail dot com, and I will try to update the addon when I get to it. If you wish to give me some motivation to fix it ASAP or if you just wish to thank me, you can send a few cents via paypal (the donate button on this page below download).

Maybe you already answer the question but the command /AR for your addon replace the /ar blizzard command for raid alert. Do you have a solution for that issue ?

  • #93

First of all, AR =/= RA. Second of all, Blizzard raid alert is called raid warning and is accessible via /RW.

Very recommendable addon! Now I'll never forget to rep again! xD

Great and useful addon.  One addition I'd like to see is the option to only auto-repair when you are exalted with the faction.  That way when I'm out questing, I don't end up spending more on repairs than I need to when I talk to vendors that can repair, but at higher rates.

Very trusty addon. I do have a couple suggestions that might be helpful during game play. If there was a small display so you can see what your gears damage level is. Something similiar to xanDurability addon. And maybe show the current repair cost also.

This does not work with latest version and patch 5.1. Doesnt want to repair automatically.

can someone confirm if this allows the use of guild bank repair and if so, the correct command to enable it.

  • #86

Yes, you can enable it with /ar guild

  • #84

does it use the guild bank

    Excellent mod!  Thank you!

Update for MoP?  Please please please?

  • #80

could you make a different addon that modifies the buying process? For example, when I buy 99 huntsman traps, I'd like to just type 99, rather than push the arrow 99 times. Thanks :)

Hi there! I have a request for a feature, not sure if it's possible.

If you repair-from-guild enabled, could it please report whether it repaired from guild or personal funds? For example,  have it set /ar guild, which as I understand it will failover to personal funds if guild-bank-repair fails. I'd like to know where it's repairing from - guild bank, or my funds - when it does so. I have it set to tell me how much it spends already, but where the money is coming from isn't shown.

    Thank you!

ETA: I just set it to guildonly and visited a repair shop, and it didn't tell me how much it repaired for. I'm pretty sure I needed it, but it goes fast enough I sometimes miss the color on the icons, and only know because it tells me. If it does not announce how much you've repaired for in guildonly mode, could that please be added? And, since it *has* been telling me, does that mean it's been repairing from my funds?

Again, thank you for your work!
